Moonlight
One of those rare and exceedingly magical nights.
I did a full day grocery shopping and got home and couldn't find my thread. Since I had *just* bought fabric that I had full intentions of working on tonight I was IRRITATED.
Rob offered to load us all up and go get some from the mom & pop store which amazingly enough has two different colors of thread. We had to go immediately as they close at 6 in the winter.
As we headed the whole mile there I noticed the beautiful moon, and requested that we sneak down to the Bay before heading back. (A whole mile if that out of the way.)
It was soooooo worth it!
Doesn't God provide amazing gifts?!
On the car front. The new mechanic is quoting us approximately $400. On top of the $400 we just paid for our other vehicle. *sigh*
Rob doesn't want us to go to Idaho. If we were smart we wouldn't. We'll be talking about it tomorrow morning when he gets home...

Oh my that is gorgeous! Just amazing.
With the crazy weather report, the spendy mechanic quote...erm and more imporantly the hubby saying he doesn't want to go--hmmmmmmmmmmm do you think there's message there somewhere. Hiding away at home for the holiday's, just being immediate family can create some terrifce memories for all of you. Just a thought. Hugs. Oh and that is neat about your friend and her book(s). I chicken out on a contest...erm they send me an invite to enter. ...and dummy me chickened out. But, I may submit a story. It's an online magazine....Narrative Magazine.
Yes, God is GOOD. I often think of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe "Safe?! No, he isn't safe but he is good." I love the beautiful nighttime pictures. I had noticed the moon shining on the snow last night and was amazed at the beauty too. Of course, I didn't actually grab my camera (tsk, tsk).
Praying that you make the wisest decision for your family this Christmas as far as location.
That top picture is beautiful! I'm sorry about your excursion. Everyone tells you to put aside money for emergencies like that but We have never managed to do it. I wish we did, but we don't
I love a full moon!! Beautiful!!
That is called the Full Cold Moon and is so big because we are closer to the moon now than at anytime during the year 2008. I'm going to put an item about it from the Farmer's Almanc or however you spell it on my site.
Beautiful photography!
