Rainee's learnin' to dress herself.  The problem??  Those aren't her clothes.  *snicker*  She has Zeria's shirt  & overall's on.   The shirt worked great as a night shirt.  The overalls....they just didn't work.  *giggles*

And Rainee has discovered a new passion.  She LOOOOOOOOVERS helping mommy garden.   None of my kids have ever cared.  But Rainee she thinks its just sooooooooooooooooo cool.     I weeded my roses Monday, and then decided to break down and start a new flower bed.    So the big kids and I collected the rocks.  (actually Rainee did too)   But her rocks were umm a bit small.  We put them their anyhow.  ROFL

And then Rob helped me shovel up the sod.  And then Rainee helped me shake out the sod and get it all to dirt.   Okay mostly she got in my way...and through dirt out instead of sod.   But she was DEFINITELY enthusiastic.

This is gonna be mostly a herb garden.   I planted parsley, and *thinks* cilantro yesterday.   Gonna watch and get a few more later.   I have two roses in their as well (of course)   But their to cover the ugly wall behind it.    Here's hoping it works.   Have some chives that I'll transplant to here.   I've had them since high-school.   The box has moved with me each time.   But is umm DYING.   So this will be their permanent home.

So that was my project for this week.   Spring is in the air and its sunny.   Its just hard to resist getting in the dirt.   Fortunately the work involved in this is minimal.  30 minutes to weed the roses...30 for the herb garden.   And the roses will probably only need weeding once more this summer.

I have no idea how much energy I will have as the summer progresses...so am trying hard to not overdue.

Today the kids and I are taking their bikes to the waterfront.  This way they can bike somewhere flat.   While we're there daddy will be at the dentist getting his teeth cleaned.  He'll bike to meet us.  (Its like 6 blocks is all)    Its gorgeous here....praying its the same when we get off the hill.

Tonight is date night.   Hopefully.   Other then that not much planned.

My morning sickness has subsided to a bare minimum for the most part.   Trying not to fret over that.   Not sure how well its working.    I'd actually be excited if I puked.  I'd know that my hormones were working.

    Okies time to load up.

    Be back in a bit

  • :) You know, something that I have always been thankful for is that I never had any morning sickness with either of the kids.

  • :sunny: It's great that your kids love the outdoors so much!

  • how fun! i'm glad she enjoys gardening with you.

  • I can't wait to see pics of your garden as it grows. What a little helper Rainy is!  Personally, I think she has fashion sense. Didn't you know the baggy look is in??? ROFL!

How do you do it with bikes?  Do you have little ones on the back of yours, or in a cart? Who rides their own bikes?
