  • AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWw

Do you know how impossible it is to get 6 people to smile at the camera at once?  Do you know how impossible it is to get 6 people to LOOK good at once?  And then what happens?????  The battery dies after one picture.  *sigh*  Try again in 5 years ROFL

OH yes, and you know the cropping ability on digital cameras????  I really, really, really LOVE it!!!!!  Because it makes the above picture turn into a pretty cute picture……

Yesterday was our 3rd Anniversary.  We spent approximately 5 minutes together.    It was Rob’s first day back to work.  And he let me sleep in until the last possible moment before he had to leave.  And I was asleep when he got home from work at 11 pm.  How romantic huh????

Actually we had already agreed to postpone it due to the fact that we ahem aren’t allowed to “enjoy” each other for a couple more weeks.  LOL  And then I’m hoping we can plan a trip to Friday Harbor.   We did that for our first anniversary and really enjoyed it.

I didn’t do a sappy anniversary post yesterday, because well I forgot it was my anniversary until quite late in the day.  ROFL   And by that time I’d used all my mental energy up babying Rainee and her growth spurt.  I think I nursed her for 5 hours straight yesterday.  That was the reason for the MOOOOOOOOOOOo!  yesterday.    And 1/4 of that time Kaylin was attatched to the one Rainee wasn’t using.  It was a LONG day.

The kids were good however, so that was very nice, and today I had help pretty much all day and that was even better.

Tonight while eating dinner Samuel discovered a new delicacy.  I can’t say that I recomend it, or have any desire to try it, but he apparently enjoyed it quite a bit.  He had banana a la ketchup.  (BLUCHY BLUCHY BLUCHY)   I’m all for ketchup on hot dogs, and french fries, and hamburgers, but I REFUSE to try it on banana, I’ll trust Samuel that it tastes good.  (BLUCHY)

Sunday morning shortly after the above picture was taken Rainee had a blow out diaper.  I layed her in the change table at church went to remove her tights and the contents of the diaper went EVERYWHERE.  My hair, my face, etc.   YUCK!!!!   It was a first.

Tonight I had another first.  *sigh*  And it involves the same substance.  Are you grosed out yet?  Samuel had a headache after going to bed, so I went up to help him, only to find Kaylin buck naked in her crib covered in yep you guessed it.  Apparently she was using it for finger paint.  om om om it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Disgusting.     I had to give her a complete bath she had the substance from head to toe.  BLUCH!  She shares a room with her sister and Zeria was already asleep, so in the morning I get to figure out how to clean up the mess she left up stairs.  *sigh*  HMMMM do you think Rob would clean it up      She’s asleep in Rainee’s crib downstairs, as Rainee is still sleeping in bed with us.

Ok no more grose stories.  I promise (well at least for today )

I am doing much better.  My extended family is still struggling a LOT. And I still can’t go into the details of why.  And to top things off my mom got a call Saturday night that my grandpa was dying.  So she dropped everything and made the 20+ hour drive to go see him.  He’s in Grande Prairie, AB.  He’s starting to do a little better, so it may have been a false alarm, he’s over 80 and had a long healthy life, and no regrets.  So time will tell what is really gonna happen.  In the meantime my dad is playing chauffeur, babysitter, and housewife to the 6 at home.    I guess its a good thing he’s out of work right now *sigh*

So I continue to take one day at a time, and am slowly feeling better each day.  Some day I will have the energy to start leaving comments on peoples blogs again.

To my new subscribers I’m SOOOO sorry I haven’t been by to visit and say thanks,  I hope to do it soon, but no promises.

His strength is perfect, when our strength is gone.

  • What a lovely family.  Hang in there.  It gets better.  I promise.

I thought of you when I saw this “I know God won’t give me more than I can handle. I just wish He didn’t trust me so much.”  Take care.

  • That’s a big families camera…our batteries can think….they only get empty when there are no others around… preferably at graduations.

  • I LOVE your photos! They are just delightful! What a blessing to have such beautiful children. Makes me want to have my own very soon! Actually… reading your blog regularly has prompted some dreams… which have been quite bizarre… but very nice all the same!

Thanks for sharing your story… I always love reading it!

  • Great photos, even though everyone is not smiling. I can’t even make two of them smile at the same time. Sorry you’ve been having such a stinky time.

  • Reminds me of a few weeks ago when I tried to take pictures of my Vegas group… sigh… kids are great … young and old.

  • My mother tells me I did the same thing that Kaylin did when I was less than a year old. I was in my thirties when I told her I didn’t like her telling that story to people she’d just met. Too much information!

Glad to know that everyone is well!

  • No gross out here.  We still get those big poopy blowouts.  Yeck!!  I can’t wait til they are all potty trained.    Until then… one day at a time, one day at a time.  *sigh*
