Good morning. Yesterday was a very nice day. My sil brought her girls over and the kids played quite nicely together. Samuel had a couple minor meltdowns…but other then that things went quite smoothly. OH yeah…and well ummm according to “my” kids her girls mooned Samuel.
Of course we didn’t hear about this until AFTER they had left. ROFL. Rob and I found it hillarious…but I’m sure my sil would be mortified…so well I’ll whisper discreetly to her this morning at church what happened making sure she knows that we’re not upset…just as a so you know kinda thing. LOL
Oh and Mammie Chula…about the abbreviations. ROFL=Rolling on the floor laughing, SIL=Sister-in-Law, BIL=Brother-in-law, and IL’s equals in-laws. dh=dear husband or other d words such as d*** depending on the mood I’m in
We have had 3 gorgeous sunny days in a row. Does this mean we’ll get one for tomorrow? probably not. Of course it wouldn’t be possible for dh to get to enjoy the sunshine. But hey I can dream.
We have had a long battle with our insurance company in regards to our house. And finally have agreed to part ways. Unfortunately this means the scramble to find somebody who wants to insure a 100 year old house with its own idiosyncresies. So tomorrow dh will be quickly finishing the repairs on the woodstove from our lovely chimney fire (we had a temp job up…that we’re sure the insurance won’t appreciate) And the “new” insurance company will come tell us yay or nay. Just for the record I think insurance is an incredible racket…and they get away with murder.
The insurance company we just left. Had the gall to tell us amongst other things that NOBODY would insure us if we owned a trampoline. Well as my parents have owned one for over 15 years, and have had insurance that whole time….ummm their WRONG. Oh yes, and we had to paint our “new” wall to be insured. (In February in the rain) how is this gonna effect the property? Is it gonna keep it from burning down?????? We’re still trying to figure that one out. Oh and lets not discuss the crawl-space under our deck. They told us we had to cover it…or they wouldn’t insure us. And that is effecting our house how? Quite frankly its keeping our house safer, because our dog sleeps there…and he’s our security system…and he does a GOOD job. And man was he ticked when we covered it.
Oh and how about the fact that they didn’t like our little shed that we built last summer. We have full intentions of putting a metal roof on it this summer…when we finish everything else. BUT for now its got tar paper on it. And they told us we HAD to put metal on it or they wouldn’t insure us. Important note to insurance company…we did NOT ask for insurance for the stupid 8×10 shed. If it burns down tonight the ONLY thing we’d be even remotely sad about is Rob’s bike……and we wouldn’t be telling them about it. We WANT insurance for the #$@*&*( house…and only because its required by the bank. *sigh*
Ok moving on to bigger and better things. HMMMM
Jamari learned a new word last night. Targ (our dog) was outside barking last night and he said Tahg! Tahg! Tahg! very cute
He’s gonna talk before Kaylin *sigh* She has words..but not very many. Though is getting a little better every day.
Kaylin my lovely daughter was wide awake at 5:15 this morning. Which for the record is ENTIRELY TOO EARLY. Jamari joined her awake at 6:15. *sigh* Can I go back to bed now???? PLEASE????? Just think in 7 weeks or so when there’s a 3rd baby in the house…I think we’ll just both forget about ever sleeping again.
I was desperate and gave Jamari goat milk again. So far he has NOT puked it up. Crossing my fingers that he’ll actually keep it down. Mind you if he’s gonna throw up it will be right AFTER I put his Sunday clothes on him. That is the way it works around here. LOL
Father God, I thank you for a new day. I ask that things will go well. I pray for the energy and pain-free to go to evening service tonight if at ALL possible. It is so important to Rob…and my body just hasn’t allowed me to in such a long time.
I thank you for your love for all of us in your sons name, Amen

ROFL about the ‘mooning’ incident. I agree that insurance is a racket. They are betting that nothing will happen to your house and you are betting that something will. I am shocked that they are putting so many stipulations on insuring you. Our insurance company just drove by the house to make sure it really existed and that was it. Go figure.
Insurance is a real scam, think of all the thousands of dollars you have paid into it, and when you make a claim, they raise your rates. Its stinks! We have All-State Homeowners insurance, dont know if they are where you are, but they gave us the best price. As for the trampoline, that will only raise your rates, but they will still give you coverage.
the hospital told my friend that their stats show almost ALL tramp accidets happen away from home!
ROFL at mooning – where did they learn that???????
I’m glad that you had a good time. Praying you get insurance.
Good Grief! What an “interesting” insurance company! Our company didn’t even ASK us if we had an outbuilding! As a matter of fact, they never even came to our house. They did ask us if we had a woodstove. They didn’t care that we did, just wanted to make sure we had installed it properly, which we had.
I LOL about the throwing up on the Sunday outfit thing.
That’s exactly when Hannah would have done it. Yep, they must be in cahoots!
If we want insurance for the house, we just have to fill in forms. They dont come and look at anything. Have a great day.
>>>HA-HA!!! that was a funny face(honestly i found it hilarious, too). but yah. u sound like u have a luvly house…OMG! a centennial old, huh?! that must cost alot! that’s probably the only thing we dont have 2 worry right now since we aint got a house yet…well…we’re renting a house, but not own it yet. nways, 2nite ill have 1 last post 4sure. after that…i dont know when im a be back(hopefully soon coz i really do luv xanga & reading ur guyz’ blogs & stuff). pls keep us in ur prayers coz as much as im xcited…im also very scared
btw, thnx 4 clarifying those abbrv. that was really helpful & had cleared alot of things fr me
