Isaiah18But the LORD still waits for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the LORD is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for him to help them.
Well Rob locked his keys in the car yesterday. So I ended up driving to his job and rescuing him 1 hr 15 minutes 1 direction on the worlds MOST curviest road you've ever seen! So after church I bundled the kids up and drove out there. It rained cats & dogs the whole way.
He treated me to a Blended Mocha MMM MMM. And then we decided to spend the night at the motel out their (really cheap) and watch Cable Tv getting essentially no tv reception at our house. It was a fun night
Even if Kaylin didn't particularly like sleeping. hehehe
This is the view we woke up to this morning.

He works 5 minutes from here. We had to get up super-de-duper early. To get back to home to take Zeria to Vacation Bible School. This is her first year she's old enough to go. I'm hoping she's having lots of fun!
Father God, I'm still sick. And I'm whiney. And the lack of thyroid in my system isn't helping one iota. Could you please give me a extra measure of grace and the ability to enjoy today...inspite of all of this.
Enable Rob to enjoy his days off, and let us each seek you today. In your sons name, Amen

I bet she has a blast at VBS.
Love that view!
It's good that you were able to turn the situation into a "mini vacation."
Um I hate to say it, but I have a hard time trying to stop by to visit you. Nine times out of ten comet cursor makes my poor old puter freeze
Don't you just love spontaneous vacations?
