  • Jamari's collar bone

Yeah so yesterday morning the boys were goofing off, and once again Samuel was rougher then he should be, but this time it had longer consequences.
Jamari was very emphatic that they were PLAYING not fighting.

But regardless his clavicle paid the price and he broke it.

I suspected as much yesterday, but took him into the ER in Forks today and confirmed it.  Broken clavicle, has to where a brace for 6 weeks, we'll go and discuss things with his regular doctor next week.

So thats life in this house.

I get to figure out how to keep a wiggly boy calm for 6 weeks. hahahaha

Actually at this point it hurts so much it isn't going to be a point.

  • Ouch...  Good luck keeping him down a bit.   We were told the same thing with Ben and I looked at the dr. like she was nuts. LOL  She said "I know, I know...do the best you can" LOL  He's not even 18 mths and hasn't a clue.

  • Oh no, sure hope it heals fast.

  • They joys of being the mother of sons!  I think we kept the emergency room in business lots of times with Brent and one summer it got so bad the kids were questioned about whether we were hitting them or not.  That was after Brent left something laying around and our never injured child fell over it and needed stitches.  Her eyes were big as saucers when she came out and told us all they had asked her.  Of course our personal pediatrician was the one that came and stitched her up and he really got a good laugh out of them questioning her.  He assured them that we had one child that was an accident waiting to happen and his sister just got a side effect of him.
