I suppose its a bit silly.

But since long before I moved to Clallam Bay there was one house that I drove by and just loved.   Its just a me kind of house.  I'm not a fancy schmancy kind of house girl.

I like a big farmhouse kind of style.

Anyhow one of the major appeals to this house to me was the wrap around porch which allows you to kick your kids outside year round, without them being outside.

I love my property.  But I admit my manufactured home rather bites.

Any how yesterday I noticed a for sale sign up on the house that I've always loved.

And today I looked it up on the internet...They want ONLy $148,000 for it.

Our house is currently worth more then that...by about $20,000.  Yes even in todays market.  We have 22.5 acres, and 4,000 feet of river front property after all.

This house is only on a acre and a half.  But is a HUGE house connected to several thousand acres of county park.   And its still alongside a river...different river.  but still a river.  Actually a much better river for swimming deeper holes, etc.

So I looked longingly at it, and kind of laughed.

And when Rob woke up I told him about it, and he called the realtor and made an appointment to go look at it.

Its probably ridiculous to even consider it.  But oh man...its so purdy.

So Saturday we're going to go look and have a laugh.  And then do some serious praying...

We will leave the kids at home, so as to not get them too psyched.  And yeah prayers are appreciated.

Its hard not to covet at this point.  I want it so bad I can taste it...but at the same time I keep telling myself...don't get your hopes up.
