Good morning.  Its quite nice outside, and I think its calling at me to go to the beach.  We shall see if it happens.

I spent yesterday recovering from yesterday, and babying a bit of a sore jaw.  I'm fighting some kind of mouth infection.  Not sure if I'm winning yet or not.  LOL

Jeremiah is celebrating his birthday tomorrow.  The "baby" will be 4.  It seems weird to know one more year and no more preschoolers.  As much work as they were so close together I did love them at that age.

He's telling anybody who will listen.  I'm turning 4, then 5, then 10.

Yeah we'll just skip 6,7,8, and 9 apparently.

He's getting more "roads" for his birthday.  He LOVES train tracks.  But they disappear eventually around here, so I picked him up a nice set to play with.

When asked where he wanted to go or do on his birthday he informed me.  "I want to do something that isn't a lot of driving."

I think he's done being drug around.  LOL  So we will eat at our local restaurant on the way home from church, and walk on the beach beside it.  ITs a nice beach with lots of agates, one we used to go to as kids.

So its looking like a beach weekend I think.  Which will be good because every weekend from now until Christmas is truely booked.  Sometimes double booked.  Its gonna be a intresting ride.  LOL

  • I don't really envy you no/west coasters your winter weather but would love to have all the beach experiences and the ability to get to all the water areas you have available to you.  Think water just revives my soul.

Those babies do grow up and you now need to stop calling him baby even tho he will always be your baby....those words, "you will always be my baby" sometimes come back to bite you in the butt!!! lol  Take it from one who knows!

  • Happy birthday Jeremiah!!  He's not a baby anymore, no more toddlers in the house!.  I told Tony if we wanted to get our insurance back we just needed one more kid.  He rolled his eyes at me... he he.  He might be more intrested when the house is 'done'.  (or at least finally to the fun stage ;-p )  We thought briefly we were going to foster a 12 year old african girl but they are trying to keep her in country after all.  She was raped along with her whole family while her father was here in the states getting some schooling.  Instead of sending her here though they are trying to get her into a boarding school with an older sister.  The church is trying to raise money to help pay for the schooling.

  • Wow... he's already 4? Doesn't time fly!

  • A quiet beach day weekend for the birthday before the onslaught of the holidays sounds about perfect to me, and I am waaaaaaay past 4.  He is a wise little fellow, but baby, no more.

  • Happy Birthday Jeremiah!  Hope you had a wonderful relaxing fun day together to celebrate your "big boy."
