  • 1,500 feet

1500 feet above here it is snowing.

    SNOWING.

    On June 9th.

Its 8:48 at night...and it looks like its 11 pm outside.

    And pouring hard.

Rob's bridge he built for the summer is floating down the river--the only thing keeping it from the ocean is he tied it off to a alder tree.

Its just evil nasty yucky out there.

The only good thing about it is it didn't rain during Rob's half-marathon yesterday.

I think I'm gonna go build an ark.

  • You know, if a good soaking rain would break this crazy heat we're having I'd welcome it!!  Sorry your bridge washed away.

  • it has been raining here today too but we aren't thinking of building a raft yet : )  There were funnel clouds sighted 10 minutes from here though.  I DO NOT like tornadoes or even the threat of them.

  • I just wish you'd keep all that cold and dreary out your way.  You keep sending it to us!  We are supposed to be in the upper 80s and it is COLD here this morning with fog.  SIGH

  • Its actually raining here, has been all night.  Horrible rain more like you guys get instead of our usual light rain that goes away!  It was blowing last night to!

  • The weather in the entire continental US has gone comPLETELy INSANE!  In NC, we are usually around 80 with periodic rains in June... it's over 100 degrees (been close for the last 5 days) and has not rained enough to matter in almost TWO weeks!  I am ready for a little weather normalcy, how about you???

  • And, I lost power last night.  June right?  *sigh*  Take care!!  Hugs.

  • In Central Washington it has been cold, windy and on Tuesday a.m. the foothills had snow on them about 1/3 of the way down ! Promised rain never happened.  One more day of cold, highs about 60 degrees, but by weekend the weatherman says up to 79 degrees......we'll see.  I don't want to go from Juneuary to a very hot July/August, but bet that is exactly what is going to happen.  Time for me to send this weather on eastward to my other family members in MO, OH and MA......they all could use cooler weather .   Sorry SunnyC, but tired of long pants and sweatshirts.

  • The weather is insane everywhere! It's SO cold here... unusually so for this time of year.
