Mommy there's pink, and yellow and purple.  Jer's black eyes taken on Monday.  Their finally losing some of their brilliant colors and is hope that they may someday just be eyes again.

And I finally loaded the play pictures so here's Zeria as Mooch Dotty's dog in Wiz of the west.

I loved that pose on her...it was taken during the candid camera time they allow parents at the end.  No pictures allowed during the play as it distracts the kids too much.

And a close up just before the second performance, she had the greatest make-up on.

My little tarantulas otherwise known as Jamari and Rainee.  The only spiders that might not scare Zvanzivou

And the very scarey buzzard.  Kaylin Joy.

I have a ton more pictures but I'll spare you.    Its horribly hard to take pictures inside a dim they just wash out, but at least they have some for there scrapbook.

The question has been posed to me on several occasions wether I had a specific prayer request, and I'm finally gonna actually voice it.

I need a friend.  Somebody NOT my husband who is a strong Christian, preferably someone who lives close by and I can see frequently.  I was very blessed in childhood of having a best friend from fifth grade through my first year of college.  And at college I was given a best friend who has joined the xanga land for the last year and a half.  But alas she lives a long long ways a way, and while we are still good friends its just not the same.

After college I had my family, and my little sister Karla.  Who also blogs, and also now lives a long ways away.   I've never regained the intimacy of a best friend.  And I've prayed about it off and on, and I've been blessed with friends, but not someone I felt like I could just connect with on a deeper level of intimacy.

I find myself really needing to bounce stuff off of someone that's not my poor broad shouldered husband.  Today I was just desperate to talk to someone and I ended up venting to the baton coach.  She was molested as a child, and the "father" (step-father) she recently buried was the man who did it.  She's NOT a Christian however, and as a result her advice doesn't totally agree with my world-view.

In the past I've felt selfish for asking for a close friend, but right now I just feel needy.  So if those who truely want something to pray for for me, that would be it.

  • Praying for you...

  • I'm praying for you.  I so understand that desire.(((())))

  • I had a friend that prayed for that same thing and got it.  You will find someone too.  It is a good thing to pray for.  Blessings!

  • I had friends and then we moved... it makes me wonder sometimes.  I don't know maybe we are supposed to be realying solely on God but then I just know how confused I get in my head.  I think there is a reason we need fellowship with one another.  It helps us avoid the confusion if we can say what is rolling around in our head and then realize how crazy, stupid or smart it was.  The problem with those long distance friends is it wasn't until the last day we spent together I was finally able to talk to Sharon McGee about some of the crap in my head.  I totally sympathize.  I guess we need strong faith to ask for a friend and know he will provide it, whatever it is we need.  You have been out there for awhile.  Maybe you have friends and you don't realize it yet,  Its really funny because It took me a long time to realize Sharon was my friend and we weren't just hanging out because of Tony and Jason.  We seemed so... different!!  So keep your eyes open I guess is what I was trying to say.

  • praying God brings you a wonderful friend.
