I taught myself how to do this tonight after the kids went to bed.

    joy

It was an intresting tutorial.  It was soooo easy right until the end, and then the last step took me 45 minutes.    And I'm still not completely happy with the way the butterflys went out of the picture.  But it was fun, and I definitely learned something new!

Its spring.  We actually had weather that allowed us to be outside and stay outside.  I've been burning most of the week.  And when I wasn't I was deep breathing and babying achey muscles.  LOL

Kaylin and Rainee are off on an adventure with my mom to see their cousins.   My sister put up a picture on her blog of Rainee and Katie.  I so wish they weren't so far away now.  Karla I've started praying you'll move again.  You can hit me any time soon!

Any how this morning my dad was here, and after he helped Rob get our red van unstuck (long story) we headed off on an adventure.

The first adventure was cancelled due to snow.  Yeah snow.  We headed up the hill, and the roads were totally dry, and came around the corner and their were four inches.  It got worse quickly.   We turned around as we were slipping in 4 low.

So instead we headed to this rather pretty falls along the Calawah.  Its just off the road, theirs actually two of them, and we all chose to climb up to the second one.  The last time we were here Jer was asleep, so I stayed in the van while Rob and the kids climbed.  This time I got to go.

It was really much greener then the pictures make it look, I'm not sure why the colors washed out so bad.  It was a nice little adventure.   And we were all ready to crash when we got home.

I'm missing the girls, and so are the kids, but other then that nothing exciting.

    Darn it.

    I just yeah.

When my life sounds pathetic I'll remind myself of our baton coach.

Two weeks ago she headed to California to move her parents as her dad had been hospitalized, and it was time for them to be closer to family.

Half way back in Roseberg, Oregon her MOM had a heart attack and was admitted.  In a town she knows NO one, and is hours and hours from home.

All three of them developed pneumonia.  Her mom is dying.  non responsive, kidney failure.  Her dad has pneumonia.  She's getting over hers.

After days of motel fees for herself the hospital found her some kind of duplex to stay in for free (a ronald mcdonald type thing.)

And she's stranded watching her parents die.

Just awful.  So prayers are appreciated.
