Several issues happening in regards to my parents.  And I rather feel like doing this to the issues...not to my parents just to the issues.

And yeah I've shared it before, it came from my friend Bluetoban.

    But its just so satisfying

Anyhow we had baton practice today.  All of the kids who are desperately missing it are getting together once a week in one big squad and practicing.  The kids very much enjoyed it.

There was a mom there that I had the desire to hit like the penguin is hitting...but instead I went lalalala.

I think I just need to hit something.  ROFL!

My kids are in bed, my hubbys at work...how about I hit my pillow?

I had my annual exam this year.  While up on the lovely stirrups, and just before the doctor did the pap smear...the receptionist knocked on the door, the doctor walked out and visited with her for over five minutes.

    I was NOT impressed.

    NOT.

I haven't been totally happy with her to being with, and have decided that was the straw that broke the camels back.  And mine by the way, as the stirrups put my hips out pretty darn quick.

And I ended up being in the wretched horrible things for fifteen minutes.  *shrieks*

Needless to say my hip is screaming at me tonight.  Nothing that a nice hot bath wouldn't fix....

except I have seven aracona chickens in my tub!   I never blogged about it, but we bought them two weeks ago.  There growing fast, but its just too cold outside, so my tub is there home for now.  LOL

    Craziness all around I guess.

  • OMG! How rude of her. You would expect being a woman as well she would be a little more sensitive.

    Chickies are so cute. Pictures?
I totally understand the bath thing though. 2 weeks ago when a semi slammed into the back of our car (and kept going without even stopping to see if we are ok) the hot water heater broke! We didnt have hot water for a week just a bath filled with half cold kettle water. With a sore back (as with a sore hip) you need a hot bath!!

  • The doctor thing is horrible!

As far as hitting something, I remember a very wise person once told me that hitting things was a good thing instead of bottling everything up inside : )  very wise person : )

ryc: smarty pants (lol) actually we'd have both sets of parents in the same small town as us.  At this stage of our marriage and with them being who they are, we think that we will be able to handle it.  I'm not saying that there will be challenges but we are tired of the long distance relationship.  We'll see where they settle.  They may end up by my brother three hours away : (

  • I love the eggs the araconas lay!!!!  And they were PROLIFIC, if I recall correctly.

Umm.. yeah, if a doctor left me hangin' in stirrups for five minutes I'd be livid and would NOT be in a rush to go back.:-/

  • I love your topper with your name and the kid pics.  You are getting so good at all this creativeness with the computer graphics.  You should start a business, I think you would do well.  I want one of those!

  • Ohhh!!!!!  That's NOT even funny!!!!!!!  Hope you find a better doctor!

Ha!  Your house sounds like mine!  Everyone here thinks we're crazy to have tons of cats, kids and now pigs!!!!  HA!  And, yes, when we first got our little pigs they spent the first night IN our basement in a cage, bc it was too cold to put them out!  But, yeah only one night was all I could handle...my house smelt like a pig barn!  HA!!!  :)

  • PS. Your site is GREAT!!!!!!  How did you learn to do all of this!!!  You should start a business you're GREAT at this stuff!!!!!!  :)

  • Okay, I'm sure you are in the same type situation we are .....sorta.... in that in your area there may not be many docs to chose from BUT you need to tell this woman how she treated you was not professional or even just plain nice and then find someone who has a decent "bedside" manner.

I'd love to slap afew of my family member up side the head and just get their attention.

  • Oh wow! That is SO unprofessional.  It must be the time of year for annual exams.  I had mine recently as well.  My doctor was in the midst of the exam when he said 'Hmmm... that's odd, where would that go".  This is the LAST thing you want to hear.  Turns out, they misplaced my IUC.  We did find it, but the remark made me giggle.  I hope you hips are better and it made me laugh out loud to hear there are chickens in you bathtub!  You are probably the coolest mom ever.

  • Chickens in the bathtub... hmmm.  More Eagle food?  Or did you build them a chicken coop with a roof on it. (ROFL)

  • That's horrible to be left like that! Sometimes medical people are thoughtless...

We have chickens too. Just not in the bathtub.

  • WOW. The doctor situation would make me very unhappy.

You've had the chickens for two weeks. I hope it hasn't been that long since you took a bath. *Snicker* Just kidding. I had to say it.

RYC: thanks so much for the advice about the chiro. I'm looking into doing that now. It can't hurt to try.

  • Yes, that is awful for you to have to do.  Been there and told them politely that I had been on the table too long.  They don't do that anymore.  I get some good tretment.  Very good.

  • i had a gyne who spent her time whispering to her resident during the exam, rather than talking so that i could hear her.   never went back...

thank you so much for your compliment.  i truly appreciate it.  i'm on a new journey with this and miss selling in person so i can interact directly with potential customers and so better understand how what i'm doing is perceived.  if there is ever anything that you particularly like, let me know.  sometimes i've used really expensive materials, sometimes i can substitute others not so spendy and bring the cost way down on a case b y case basis.   meanwhile, for the moment, i'm selling on ebay under  the name "ghostbutterfly" and planning to change that to "gingerlilydesigns" at some point in the not too distant future.

    take care.
