  • beaches

    Its been a good weekend.

Not warm.  Never got about 50 degrees as far as I know.

But very little rain, and blue sky.

And we hit the beach 4 times total.  I missed one of those times as Rob went this afternoon while I napped, but all in all quite a nice break.

Friday it rained/snowed/hailed/blew so nasty.  And then about four o'clock the sun came out and I declared we HAD to get out.

The sky was so clean and clear.

It was impossible to take bad pictures.  LOL  So I'll just share seven of my favorites.  We loved that cloud formation.  We followed it for about ten miles before we got to our beach of choice.

    Two Robs and Jeremiahs.

No pics of the girls.  They were in the shade building a sand castle and it was too cold there.  We enjoyed ourselves but cold quickly.  We couldn't figure out why until we got on and looked at the temperature which our new car has as a built in feature.  37 degrees.  Or 3 celsius.  Yeah there was a reason we were cold after an hour of being on the beach.

The other beaches I just enjoyed and *just* got the pictures off my camera, might share some tomorrow might not.

For now I have a big bowl of gooey cluster ice cream and True Lies calling my name...oh and some nice quiet time in the bedroom with dh.

  • I love the sam picture with the reflection.  The Jamari one is cool to though!  Did you see the snow we had!  Pretty, but pretty disgusting.

  • The beach is such a beautiful place, no matter what the weather is like.
