  • Jeremiah baking

I figured everyone needed a Monday evening smile.

    Or a Tuesday morning giggle.

So I had to share this.

Kaylin, Jeremiah, and Rainee "helped" me make bread yesterday afternoon.  Kaylin is actually getting quite effecient in the kitchen.  And yesterday I let her help with the kneeding even.  Rainee did fetch and carry, and early stirring.  Kneeding was a bit too tricky still for her.

Jeremiah was given the job of getting me cups of flour.....

It was a very very fun job.

  • You are absolutely a good mother to deal with kids in the kitchen and the "Flour King".

  • ryc:  I'm already on a hefty dose of ibuprofen.  I'd been getting it in the hospital for pain/cramping in general so I'm just keeping it up for this now.  So far it's going better than with Jesse since with him I had a low grade fever, etc. AND an already sore nipple from him not latching on right early on.  But this time, his latch has been great from the start so I guess I'm already ahead on that one.

The real help I wanted was mainly with errands, etc. that I just don't want to do because that's what wipes me out the fastest.  I plan to STAY HOME all week.  Well except for his appt. tomorrow at the hospital, but my mom can drive and it won't take long.  If I stick to that, I should be good for church on Sunday.  Then next week Chris is taking off so I'll have help still yet be back on our own terms. LOL

  • That's gorgeous! He looks so much like his dad, too!
