    Good morning

I took these pictures yesterday on my drive home from town and had to share.

Its another one of those days I'm soooooo greatful for my 12x optical zoom.  Cause this fella was way out in the middle of a clear-cut.  But I actually thought you got a pretty good view of him.

He let me take about 6 pictures and then while I was looking at my screen to see how I did...he flew off.  I guess he was tired of being my model.

Its not raining today, though not as nice as it was the last too days--kinda overcast and gloomy.   I slept in a LOT.  I guess I needed it.  And now we're talking about a beach.  We shall see if it happens or not.

I spent too many hours last night looking at mermaid costumes I have mermaid eyes now I swear.  Kaylin and her friend are doing their routine to Under the Sea.  My sister has graciously agreed to make the costume, and has a pattern, but I was trying to get colors, etc.  The trick is making this thing baton friendly.   So we're going with leggings with fins like I saw at Princesses on Ice.  Who knew that would come in handy.  LOL  So I spent several hours looking at leggings hoping to find something in the right colors already made.  No go yet.    But hey its early, and it was something to do.

Other then that I watched 4 episodes of Numb3rs online, and was just a major bumb.

  • I think I see a hawk or eagle? Pretty cool that you can zoom in so close! In California I saw hawks, the big ones, perching on fenceposts all along the freeway and I always wished we could just stop and snap a few shots. Of course they probably would have just flown away the moment we pulled over. LOL.

  • One of the best sights I saw down the Columbia River when I spent most of a summer in WA state, was the eagle grabbing a fish out of the water.  That was awesome.  I am going to comment on the trip to the beach too.
