So we went to the pediatrician, and she has given us an immediate referall to an eye doctor. We will be leaving for her in about fifteen minutes. So still in waiting, but obviously she's treating it rather seriously to get us into a specialist today.

pant, pant, pant
Good morning. I have to leave the house in a bit over an hour. I won't be back until 6:30 in the evening or so.
Its not gonna be a totally rushed day unless things go really south, but more on that in a minute.
On Thursday or Friday I don't remember which Jeremiah was helping me cook, and jabbering a way a mile a minute when I noticed something odd about his eyes. I brushed it off, and then looked a few minutes later. It was gone. Later in the day I noticed it for a second again, but life was hectic, and I didn't process it.
Yesterday morning I was sitting directly across from him at the kitchen table, and I finally had time to truely pay attention to it. He has developed a very recent lazy eye. Like in the last four days recent. So we are taking him into the pediatriation. IF it had been a since birth thing, I'd be less concerned, but for it to come on so suddenly like this, lets just say my mind is on over drive, and Rob is already making tenative plans to join me at the doctors should the other shoe fall.
I'm Rainee's mom, I've learned to prepare for the worst on visits to the doctors. I'm hoping it just means he has crappy eyes like his mommy and daddy, and worst case scenario he ends up with a patch for awhile, and glasses. We have both been amazed none of us needs glasses. LOL
I'm prepared for a immediate MRI, or a referral to a specialist, or anything in between.
Well as prepared as one can be, when their worried about their childs health.We had a good visit with my sister, the day was gorgeous, and the kids thoroughly loved each other. There's Kaylin and Rainee and their cousins.
I didn't take very many pictures as I was too busy attempting to visit with my sister, oh yeah and assure my birthing dog was okay. She decided to give birth to three puppies yesterday.
Geesh can't anything happen slowly around here?

My kitchen
It's not a great picture, but there's my kitchen with its new clean floor.
There's a couple pictures missing on the wall, we took them down so Rob wouldn't trash them when he was laying the floor, and now I'm not sure where they wandered off to. *scratches head*Anyhow I'm hurting from laying the floor with Rob, did something to my lower back, it makes getting up and down rather ouchy. But hey I have a clean kitchen floor so I shan't complain too loudly.
My sister is coming into town this weekend. I know I know your wondering which one, since it seems I always have a sibling coming or going--its the joy of having 9 ya know.

This is my married sister, her kids are similar in age to mine, and up until a year ago we lived closed together and raised babies together. Life happens though, and now its a major deal to get to see her.
If its nice tomorrow we will go to the beach. Rob has the day off--long story as to why, so he will visit with Tony and its all good.
I'm...
dealing with life. It all kinda hit me hard this weekend. So other then that, church is in a half hour.
Waves and runs away.

New Kitchen Floor
Rob and I spent this morning laying down our new Kitchen Floor. After ordering it on the 8th of October online it FINALLY came. It is so beautiful. We only made one booboo, and its in a corner where nobody will ever notice. And oh it looks so pretty, so nice and clean, and will hide the dirt amazingly well. It also blends in remarkably well with my laminate. Its like a whole new kitchen. All for under $500.

This afternoon was spent recovering from laying the linoleum. LOL. And I spent the last hour doing my requisite 1,667 words. So cheers I'm done, and I'm also ahead by 2,000 words as I was inspired late last night.
Rob is doing an over time tomorrow. Its needed, but we will miss him, and I'm glad it will be done by 2 pm.
Other then that just being mom. And sorry no pictures of the floor maybe tomorrow when the sun is out.

Prologue done
And my prologue is done. And my first days goal is accomplished.
In order to accomplish the goal one must type 1,667 words a day. In 40 minutes of a amazingly quiet house I have 1,840 or some such rot.
I like what I wrote, and will move on.The goals of Nanowrimo are NOT to edit. That can be done later--next month. You are to write, and write and write. Get it out of your system. Don't worry about spelling, and grammer, just get the what I always wanted to do goal done.
So one step down, 29 more days to get this project done.

Le Efalant
Supeh Gihl;
One Power Ranger;
ONe Pixie; Can anyone say writing inspiration????
A Magician; (that's what he said he was, don't ask me.)
And a mermaid.
And all of the wild things together
Its been a long and busy day, but a lot of fun. The kids were on wonderful behavior--even wound up with candy, and it was definitely worth the drive in to town to trick or treat.
Rob is pulling a double, so we won't see him until about 2 tomorrow, and then just enough for him to go to bed, but its all good, tis the season of Christmas around the corner, and we needed a couple overtimes to make ends meet.
