  • My little models

Jeremiah got his glasses today.  He did so well with wearing them.  He didn't touch them once to take them off, only to push them up on his nose when they were slipping.  And then he touched the glass and got them dirty, and immediately told me I needed to clean them.  After five or six times of this mommy got the little head band thingy I bought for him and put it on so it wouldn't slip, and then he just wore them.

About three o'clock he came to me and said "Mommy, my glasses hu't my nose."  And after the appropriate sympathy he then informed me they were hurting his ears.   I was again sympathetic and picked him up to snuggle, and he fell asleep in my arms...glasses on the whole time.  He apparently was just tired.  LOL

Anyhow points up.  He's quite proud of those glasses and doing extremely well with them.  I didn't see his eyes cross once today--which I'm hoping means their really working.  The fact that he was willing to wear them, also probably means he really needed them.

Rainbug pulled some new pants out of the bottom of her drawer, that she'd nover warn.  Snagged Zeria's headband, put on some boots she inherited from a friend, and pulled off this outfit.  It was too cute, so I decided to take a picture on our way home from baton.  This was actually taken in the side of the parking lot.  She's giving her model pose.  It just makes me giggle all over when I look at it!

  •  They need hugs...they're just nifty!!!

  • You are right that he must have really needed them to keep them on.  I felt so bad when we finally found out dau needed glasses.  Think it was 2nd grade.  We would go somewhere we had been many times and she kept saying, "I didn't know that was there!".  I felt like such and awful mother for not knowing she couldn't see.  Like the runway pose!

  • Both look absolutely precious!

  • What happened to your babies?!  They look half grown up : )

  • he looks so grown up in his glasses!  great pictures and i love the baton videos.  you have such talented children  that's got to be such fun to watch them learn new things.

  • great idea about making them run in the circle drive!  when they are having a tantrum it makes sense to give them something to do to use up that energy.  as for the potty thing, i think it's beginning to bug Spuddy that i have to wash him down in his diaper area every night because diapers make him smelly.  i told him that when he starts using the potty again we won't have to do this and he always says "i know" in an exasperated tone. (he can't have baths every day because of eczema)  i'm sure once we get home on Sunday and he's back in pf's that he'll be back on the potty in no time because he hates wearing cloth diapers, lol!

  • Aww he is so cute! What a big boy too. Love both photos,
