We have some kind of bug attacking our house.  Most of the kids have had a 8 hour headache (severe) and then a bit of a cold.  Rob's turn was last night.  He was quite miserable.  I've had a headache off and on this week, but its probably stress related.    Anyhow as a result this afternoon when Rob insisted I go outside to see the kids monkey fort, I wasn't excited, but figured I better be a "good" mom.  So I did.  It was well worth it.  They found a nice alder patch--the trees aren't very big, maybe 25 feet tall, but theirs a ton of them, and they can jump from tree to tree without any danger.  Okay minimal danger.

This evening they were calling it the orangatang party, or the rain forest.  (depended on the child LOL)

When I first got there it took me awhile to spot a few of them, as they camoflauged themselves quite nicely.  But then they all started screetching so the sound game them away.

And my husband after we enjoyed the monkey fort just enjoying one of the many trees on our property.  It was a nice adventure outside.  I'm always glad when I go out, but sometimes it takes me a lot to remember that.  LOL

This morning we headed up a logging road and shot two birds with one stone.  Okay bottles with 2 22's and a bee-bee gun, while allowing Zeria access to using her mountain board.  *snicker*  Did you follow that?   We found Zeria a lovely hill to use her mountain board on, and then moved way away from that in the opposite direction and Rob, Sam, and I shot our guns.    Rob wasn't tired after having slept for 15 hours the night before due to his migraine, so he had energy to spare this morning.  It seemed weird having him around Thursday morning, but hey fun nevertheless.  And darn it I forgot my camera--so imagine you see a crazy lady that likes to go pop-pop-pop with her 22.
