Beach Pictures
Okay on more upfront news I thought I'd share some pictures of our weekend. The first picture is the lodge at the kids camp. It wasn't a huge camp, but it was very pretty.
And this is the beach where we camped. Rob brought his gps and we realized a long time ago when we visited Dee's that he'd locked her coordinates in, so he checked, and we were right according to the GPS unit we were exactly 8 miles from her house. Of course in order to drive there it would have taken a good hour and a half! We know, cause it took us 45 minutes to get to Shelton on the way home--and she's passed that. LOL I love the way the Washington Sound, and Hood Canal mess things up! Anyhow the beach wasn't super fancy, but it was fun, and the water was super warm.
Rob snuck a picture of me wading in the water--it was so warm.
I wanted to swim, but the air wasn't very warm, and I didn't bring a swim suit.
So instead we just did a lot of wading, and looking for purdys in the water.
Jamari and Kaylin checking out a piece of a sand dollar.
Rainee finding a sand dollar
There was a huge pier to walk on as well. It was a lot of fun as we could see all kinds of critters in the water. Our favorites were the hundreds of jelly fish. They were huge, and so pretty. And yes, that picture is what the looked like--it actually turned out quite well.
And then this goofy picture of the munchies.

I just caught up on your blog...I've been away from the computer for 3 days and got a little behind. The camp sounds fun and just getting away from the stress must of been good for you.
You guys are in my heart and prayers,
Mary
Glad you had this time away from everything going on in your life right now. Parents aren't perfect. They are people too but I agree that no matter what the child's age they don't need to be in the know about everything.
love that last picture!
These photos are great! That beach looks very familiar. It is along the 101? Nearish to Lilliwaup? The camp almost looks like camp parsons where they hold scout camp. Very nice shots!
