Month: April 2007

  • This weeks photo blog topic is Shining, Shimmering, Spendid

I was a bit unsure what to put up, but finally decided to share these.

    My son on the river

  • Whispers quietly.

Jeremiah hasn't thrown up since yesterday at 2:00.   He has *gasp* eaten a tiny bit of solid food twice.

There is a small hope that he is getting better.

We may get to celebrate easter again.  Of course he made it this far once, and then began throwing up again.  Soooooooooo we shall see.

  • Sick Report

This sick report is brought to you from the Signor house.

Today on puke up row we have our star Jeremiah Signor.  Who after a brief lapse has returned to form and has thrown up twice in the last hour.

Kaylin decided to join him, and did it sometime in the night.

Rainee also decided to join him and has done it twice this morning.

My overwhelming stupid desire that it would only affect one of us is a LOST cause.

Now my overwhelming desire is for them all to be healthy by Easter Sunday.  What do you think the odds are?

  • Darn it!

    Jeremiah threw up big time.

    And filled his diaper.

So he's not out of the woods yet.

  • I love this song, and the strong reminder that goes with it. Jeremiah is definitely on the mend. He's still a bit tired, and keeps wanting to cuddle, but definitely getting better.

  • And he's better.

    I'm soooooooooo exhausted.  And relieved.

I'm officially putting an order in for a month without sickness.

    Thanks.

  • Jeremiah nursed and has kept it down for almost 2 hours.  Which means it has absorbed into his body.

    Major cheers!!

He's sleeping soundly in his daddy's arms, but may actually be on the mend.

But if he throws up at least I know he absorbed some fluids.

  • Jeremiah is still puking.  Its about once every hour and a half now.

We drove into the doctors--he feels that we can wait for the hospital.  If he increases his puking or is still puking tomorrow it will probably be time to get an iv in him.

I'm praying for a miracle myself.

  • Jeremiah has thrown up every thirty-forty-five minutes all day long--with the exception of a couple one hour intervals.

Each time he pukes it comes out the other end.

If it doesn't stop by morning I guess I'll be taking him in.

He still seems mostly hydrated, has been sucking ice cubes, and begging for water.

But any one who wants to pray it would stop wouldn't hurt my feelings.

Oh yeah and pray that this doesn't go threw all of us like the last 3 bugs have.

    *sigh*

The loud scream you here from Western Washington would be Rob and I.

  • As promised pictures of our calf Hamburger.  We call him this to remind the kids that one day she will be just that.  There is actually a slim chance we will keep her since she turned out to be a heifer.  But we're not gonna tell the kids that.  And I also reminded them she won't be Hamburger until she's big and ugly like her mom.  *snicker*  Right now she's just adorable.  So soft and fluffy.

    100_0759

She's still young enough that Rob was able to pet her, and examine her to make sure she was a she.

    100_0764

She has two mommys.  Betsy the cow, and Cricket the pony.  When we found her she was protected by the stump and a downed tree from the back, and her two mummy's in the front.  Both Cricket and Betsy were guarding her.   They apparently are going to share custody.    Don't tell Cricket but her adopted baby's gonna be bigger then her fairly quickly.  *snicker*

Anyhow we all walked out and ewwed and awed.  (even let Samuel come).   Gotta enjoy the simple pleasures when you can.

    100_0758

And Jeremiah made sure we said thank you to Betsy by feeding her.  Well daddy fed her, and then he added his own little clump to make sure he was doing his duty.

Today is a new day.  This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice in the Lord and be glad in it.

After all Jeremiah's puking sick what isn't there to rejoice in.

Its GORGEOUS outside, and today will be spend cuddling a sick two year old.

    You know.

    I'm NOT IMPRESSED!!!!!

I really, really, really, needed a break today.  And when I got up and heard that Jer had just puked that wasn't it.  *sigh*   Rob has volunteered to take a personal day.  I'm soooooooo greatful.  I ended up being up with Jeremiah about 5x last night due to his screaming.  Now I know why he was screaming.  I'm just not very with it to be soul parent to 6.   So at the moment Jer and daddy are snuggled up, and the rest of the kids are outside in the sunshine.

    Breaths.

I am ready for the sick bugs to be expelled from this house.  We had been healthy for sooooooo long, but don't you think a month of sick bugs is enough???????
