Easter Eggs
Easter was a good day. It was tamer then it used to be. But I guess life is about changes. The sweet thing was my brother and sisters who are still at home really participated which was nice. They've had bad attitudes for the last several years, but yesterday they put them aside and just had fun.
It was nice to enjoy them for awhile. All the teens and all the adults hid the eggs. It took us a good ten minutes. We were rather creative sometimes, and left some out in plain open sight for the wee ones. Rainee had to have help with the above one. She could see it, but not quite reach it. Fortunately grandma came to the rescue.
I mentioned creative right? Its on the excavator--isn't that where most people hide them?
Daffodils are of course a obvious choice. *snigger* After a good ten minutes of looking we think the kids found most of them. My mom will find the rest when she mows the lawn. She always does. bwahaha.
After they had devoured their loot. (plastic eggs had candy in them.) We all settled down to different tasks. I had brought my recently done scrapbooking and showed them off. Gabe spent some time teaching Samuel chess. It was great fun to watch. He was very patient explaining the rules. Most of which I doubt Samuel actually got.

And Rob...well he umm fell asleep on my parents window seat--much to all of our amusement. My dad got up and covered him up, and Rob had a nice little snooze. *snicker*
Zeria was fighting asthma yesterday. So she spent some time cuddling with grandma. We were all concerened about her, but she maxed out her albuterol, so we just had to let her snuggle when she was miserable. You can see how tired she looks in the picture.
And then about 4:30 we headed home for the night. Jeremiah during the drive home found a better use for his bucket.

All in all it was a good day, and such a nice break after all the sick.--even if Zeria was sick.
Jeremiah is going on the potty! And has kept pants dry all morning. I'm shocked, and ever so hopeful.

That is Justin's favorite thing to do at family gatherings too. : )
I will get the Passover info to you. I'm just going to try to find a website that has what we do instead of writing out pages and pages of text.
