• There’s a small possibility that I’m tired.

  I kept the kids home from Awana, and they were in bed by 7, and asleep by 8.  All of the girls are sick, and they needed a early night.  The  house was quiet.   I watched the two hours of American Idol, enjoyed it.  And got so entranced into the sleepiness of the evening that I became convinced it was Tuesday night.

  So at 9:45 I began expecting Rob to show up.  At 10 I was a  bit startled he hadn’t.

  And finally at 10:24 I called to see where he was.  He’s ALWAYS promptly home at 9:45-9:50.  And its a whole 5 minutes home from work. 

  “Is something wrong?”   I asked when he answered the phone.

  “Uhhh, no is something wrong there?”

  And then I realized.  Its Wednesday night.  He left for work at 7:20.  He won’t be home til tomorrow morning.  Just like every WEDNESDAY evening.

  I asked him if he trusted me to sleep in the house with his children…and he said he wasn’t sure.  *snigger*

  So I continue to repeat. 

  Tonight is WEDNESDAY night!
