  • Spring?

    Or just confused Primroses

Regardless of what they are all 3 bushes in this particular garden plot are blooming extremely well.   In fact I probably should have seperated them before this, but I’ll have to do that in the fall.  I’d love to know where they came from cause they are SUPER hardy.  I’m thinking of calling the lady who owned the house before us and asking her.   Its definitely cool to have flowers blooming this early.

The daffodils are gonna be another 3 weeks at least.  But for now–points to the primroses and just grins.

And yesterday we *almost* had some visitors.  They were just off the corner of our property.  And our dogs weren’t impressed at all.  I wish the dogs would of shut up, cause I would have been thrilled to share our grass with them.

Aren’t they awesome?  These are Roosevelt Elk.  A subspecies of elk only found on the Olympic Peninsula.  Last winter the herd never came down on this side of the hill.  Terribly thrilled that they did this year.

And other then that Zeria is quite sick.  She stayed home from church yesterday and has a preference for sleeping on the floor.  (It’s cooler there.)   She’s not apparently getting better today.  Tomorrow’s basketball, so I sure hope she perks up before then.

Other then that, just same old stuff.

  • We have primroses blooming down here and my daffies should show their pretty little yellow heads in another week or two. Of course it’s going to rain cats and dogs in the meantime.

    Roosevelt elk are fantastic animals.

  • The elk are amazing.  That is so neat to have them actually on your property even if not for long.

I’m not even going to talk about the flowers because I’m dealing with jealousy. : )
