    Got my camera in from the car.   Had to share the sky from last night.  It was beautiful on the way into the gym.

    The kids were excited because it was actually light enough to play on the playground equipment for a few minutes.  Does this mean "real" spring is coming?

    And a view of the last day of basketball for the season.

    Anyhow the snow melted, and come back.  We've had hail and rain.  And now it's beautiful blue sky.  All in a day I guess.  *shrugs*

    Jer slept for an hour this morning which was a much needed break.  he's very miserable.  Rob was attempting to convince him to give mommy some space.  And Jeremiah stood at my feet crying, and said.  "I need my mommy."

    He got her.

    I mean who can resist a plea like that?

    I still feel that way some days.  LOL

  • It's

    Snowing.

    HARD.

    Like its covered the ground in fifteen minutes.

    We now return from spring to winter.

    scowls.

  • Basketball is over.

                                        100_0370

    The kids will miss it.

    And actually I think I kind of will as well.  Its been fun getting to know some of the community people a bit better.

    Rainee is desperately going to miss R---- the coaches daughter.  She loved playing with her.  I'm trying to make arrangements to get together with them.  The coaches wife and Rob are coworkers.  And they only live a mile from our house.  They raised one family--the age of my siblings from my parents second family.  Actually there daughter dated Isaiah for quite along while.  Which is how I originally met them.   Anyhow they were inspired by my parents, and adopted two little girls and are raising their own second family.   The sweetest girls.

    So hopefully I can manage to do that.

    Rainee will bug me until we did.  ROFL

    Jeremiah is very very sick today.  I bundled him up in a sling, and held him close to me during the game.  He should NOT have been there, but unfortunately there was no babysitter.

    Samuel is going downhill fast.

    I'm not able to post on the boards, due to dealing with all of this.

    We shall see when it happens.

  • And the last kid who was healthy

    is no longer.

    UGH.

    Snickers at Bluetoban's comment.  Christina is normally smiley.  But mostly they don't want models smiling.  For what its worth...Rob wanted to know why she looked angry too.

    Just snickers a bit.

    If anyone's intrested here's a bit of my sisters portfolio   And yes she's beautiful.  I told my mom once that I was greatful I didn't have to grow up with Christina in the house...cause I would have been sickeningly jealous as she's beautiful, personality plus, and everything she does she shines at.  Its all rather disgusting.

    The good news is Zeria has Christina's body shape.  They look like twins...except for Zeria's hair is darker.

    Anyhow we're just over here coughing, hacking, and so on.

  • I keep forgetting if you open this link here and click on collection, and then womens, and then click through the pictures.  My sister is in there.

    She's in the low cut white work-out outfit, and the black and pink workout outfit.

    Both of which as my dear daughter says...need their zippers zipped up.

    I'm proud of my daughter for thinking that.

    It's also her body in the white shirt, and her body in the shirt that says 23 on it.

    My sister actually was doing quite well in modelling, but has opted out of it, and gone back to working at a

    Montessori Preschool.

    I think its because of pictures like that.

    She took the shoot because how can Air Jordan be sexy.....

    well Air Jordan can be sexxy.  *growl*  As Zeria says.  "she just needs to zip her zipper up a bit"

    Oh and if your too lazy to upload.  I'm putting up one of the pictures that is at the shoot.

  • Freecycle success

    Yeah for Freecycle.  Several years ago DH managed to run over my red plastic wagon.  It has continued to work, but the wheels get stuck, and its a major pain in the booty.  I love using the wagon.  Its excellent for pulling upwards of 4 kiddos if I need to.  Its also great for kids hauling rocks etc in it.  I've continued to contemplate buying a new one, but there about $75 new.  And so I continued to limp the old one along.

    Well Saturday a lady put one up on freecycle...this is the second time I've seen one up, but this time I managed to snag it.  It was about a 45 minute drive to go get it.  But well worth it considering its free, and in superb condition.

    And now I have ZERO excuses for not walking with my kids.

    lalalala.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Oh and those for keeping track of the flu symptoms.  We've officially added diarhea to the list of symptoms that at least one of us has had or is having.  Its soooooooooooooo much fun.
    NOT!
  • I'm alive.
    We just got the flu bug.
    Rob, Sam and Jamari have stayed healthy.
    The rest of us have all gotten varrying versions of cold, headache, stuffy nose, sore throat, nausea, puking.   Kaylin had a earache last night. It just keeps going.
    We've had kids in bed with us several times a night different kids for the past 7 nights.
    I'm greatful for healthy.
    I'll be even more greatful when we all get back there.
    Aren't you glad I can't breathe on you?
  • Random bits of cuteness
    100_0467
    Two days ago Rainee wanted to "babysit" Jeremiah.  She was very serious about it.  She made sure he got a hat and coat on.  Of course the hat was on a wee bit crooked.  But hey he was warm.  And then she wanted pictures.  Look at that baby blue eye.  Man one can drown in his eyes.  I know.  Their also real good for convincing mommy he's much more innocent then he actually is.
    100_0469
    So like a good mom I obliged.  Aren't they GOOFY
    And yesterday I snagged these.  Daddy reading to Rainee, and then soon everybody joined in on the game.  And everybody had a favorite they wanted read.  And well daddy was just a wee bit loved somehow.  *snigger*  And as many pictures as I snapped I could never get everybody's heads in it at once.  They were just too squirrly.  So consider these Candids.
  • There's a small possibility that I'm tired.
    I kept the kids home from Awana, and they were in bed by 7, and asleep by 8.  All of the girls are sick, and they needed a early night.  The  house was quiet.   I watched the two hours of American Idol, enjoyed it.  And got so entranced into the sleepiness of the evening that I became convinced it was Tuesday night.
    So at 9:45 I began expecting Rob to show up.  At 10 I was a  bit startled he hadn't.
    And finally at 10:24 I called to see where he was.  He's ALWAYS promptly home at 9:45-9:50.  And its a whole 5 minutes home from work.
    "Is something wrong?"   I asked when he answered the phone.
    "Uhhh, no is something wrong there?"
    And then I realized.  Its Wednesday night.  He left for work at 7:20.  He won't be home til tomorrow morning.  Just like every WEDNESDAY evening.
    I asked him if he trusted me to sleep in the house with his children...and he said he wasn't sure.  *snigger*
    So I continue to repeat.
    Tonight is WEDNESDAY night!
  • Spring?
    Or just confused Primroses
    100_0464
    Regardless of what they are all 3 bushes in this particular garden plot are blooming extremely well.   In fact I probably should have seperated them before this, but I'll have to do that in the fall.  I'd love to know where they came from cause they are SUPER hardy.  I'm thinking of calling the lady who owned the house before us and asking her.   Its definitely cool to have flowers blooming this early.
    The daffodils are gonna be another 3 weeks at least.  But for now--points to the primroses and just grins.
    And yesterday we *almost* had some visitors.  They were just off the corner of our property.  And our dogs weren't impressed at all.  I wish the dogs would of shut up, cause I would have been thrilled to share our grass with them.
                                      100_0459
    Aren't they awesome?  These are Roosevelt Elk.  A subspecies of elk only found on the Olympic Peninsula.  Last winter the herd never came down on this side of the hill.  Terribly thrilled that they did this year.
    And other then that Zeria is quite sick.  She stayed home from church yesterday and has a preference for sleeping on the floor.  (It's cooler there.)   She's not apparently getting better today.  Tomorrow's basketball, so I sure hope she perks up before then.
    Other then that, just same old stuff.
