  I've tried to blog off and on all yesterday evening and today.  I kept getting an error when I tried to submit.  Anyhow the above picture is the river yesterday afternoon.  The trees in the water are "ours"   they are on the property that's on the opposite side of our house.   The river for a brief time came on our side of the bank...but not close to the house at all.  There was a super duper high tide, plus we got FIVE inches of rain yesterday.   When the tide went out, so did the river.

  I took the kids to Awana tonight, they were very glad for it to be going again.
