And they found the plug
So now the three days of laundry, and backed up dishes can begin.

Ya know
I really, really appreciate running water, drains that work, and electricity. I have after all been forced to do without each of them this winter ![]()
Good morning
This week is brought to you by nausea, and backed up septics.
Isn't that exciting?
*snicker*
I was rather miserable yesterday, but seem to be better today.
Our plumbing is backing up big time. So Rob and a man from our church are having GREAT fun. (not) And desperately trying to unplug it. Anybody read Better for Worse Yesterday. None of us in this house thought it was very funny....when there's a inch of toilet water on the ground in the bathroom...its rather hard to be excited.
We have every towel in this house and a few blankets cleaning up.....
A few prayers that the $400 bill in Better for Worse doesn't come true would be nice....
Good morning
The Awana Christmas tree festival was a lot of fun, but exhausting. Rob and I were in bed and asleep by 8:30 last night. *blushes*
We came home with my moms polar bear and penguin tree, and it looks quite pretty in the corner where I put it.
I went on the rampage this morning and got the living room representable. It was quite bad thanks to little piggys and candy. But now I can tolerate it.
Samuel and I are staying home from church as Sam isn't feeling very good. He *never* wants to miss stuff, so I'm working on the assumption that he must be pretty bad.

Jeremiah was fascinated by the Christmas trees yesterday and never touched a single one--without being cautioned. He seemed to just know that they were to look at. He would get down and squat up close and stare at varying decorations, and toured the trees over and over and over during the day. This picture of him however just cracks me up. This must be his GQ pose.
The kids got to participate in the live nativity again--except Samuel who was NOT intrested, and Jeremiah who was a bit tiny. Although he did participate as baby Jesus 3 weeks after he was born. *grin*
They did the live nativity a bit differently in that the new pastor sat with them and read the story while it went on. I thought it was much better that way somehow.
In the afternoon another churches worship band came in and sang twice. They were superb, and I hadn't realized how terribly much I missed instruments in worship. It was a good moment of awe for me.
All in all definitely a wonderful day.
I was surfing rhapsody for Christmas songs, and came upon this. This is perfect for my family, for my children, and well its just perfect. ![]()

Momma looks like coffee, Daddy looks like cream
A baby is a mocha drop of American dream
All the colors of the rainbow are in her family tree
Woven all together in a paisley tapestry
She holds real tightly to her parents' hands
Baby loves that woman, baby loves that man
And her soul gives a smile 'cause she understands
Our love is black, white, tan
Yeah, yeah, yeah black, white, tan
Everyone is precious in the Father's sight
It don't matter red or yellow, black or white
He just loves ya 'cause He loves ya
I tell you this is true
You are not a color and a color is not you
So hold real tightly to your Daddy's hands
'Cause he loves that woman, He loves that man
And let your soul give a smile 'cause you understand
That love is black, white, tan
yeah, yeah, yeah black, white, tan
Na, na, na, na, na . . .
So hold real tightly to your Daddy's hands
'Cause he loves that woman, and he loves that man
And let your soul give a smile every once in a while
Let your soul give a smile every once in a while (repeat 2x)
'Cause love is black, white, tan
Yeah, I know God's love is black, white, tan
Yes I know God's love is black, white, tan
Little girl will tell you black, white and tan
Long fun day.
Spent most of it at the Awana Christmas tree festival decorating my tree. Its quite colorful, and the little boys have all decided its the "best" tree.
The festival is tomorrow so we will be gone all day at it, and hopefully I will come home with a tree for my house, if not I guess I get to decorate another one. And *no* I don't want the candy tree I did. I actually will probably bid on the one my mom did, as its very well done Polar Bears and Penguins, and its also quite kid friendly. We shall see.
Zeria took these pictures, so it doesn't show the stuffies that also sit at the bottom of the tree. I'll take more and better pictures tomorrow. I *gasp* forgot my camera today.
Rob is bringing dinner home, so gotta get *waves*
