  • Good morning

Kerry they ARE ugly.  And my husband repeatedly refers to them as rats.  So nope not gonna hate you.

Was laughing pretty hard as the puppies are already a nuisance.  They are currently living in my master bathtub.  I rarely use it, and its out of Jer's reach.  Jer could kill the puppies very easily, and very accidentally.  Anyhow this morning Achi started yipping very loudly.   I went into investigate.  She'd managed to spill her water in her freaking out, there was one puppy that had fallen into the drain of the hot tub, and one missing.  Yes, I said the drain.  Its so little it couldn't get back out, and in Achi's frantic look for her fifth puppy she pulled the blanket off of the tub.

I carefully gathered up the four we could find, and began moving the blanket around trying to find the fifth baby.   I had the whole blanket up and couldn't find Browny.  He is tooooo tiny to get out of the tub, and I was sorely confused.  Until I realized I heard yipping IN the blanket.  Its one of those polar fleece blankets that has two layers tied together.  HE somehow managed to get stuck between the two layers.  I worked him out with Achi yipping at me, and we're all good.

And I'm snickering that I'm raising gerbils...aka puppies.  They are so tiny and can get into so much trouble so quickly.  And there only 24 hours old.  A chihuahua!!!

  • Le pictures

And my batterys are charged.  So here we go Achi and her hamsters.  I mean puppies.  I recognize the look Achi has on her face...its similar to one I had on my face shortly after each of my kids were born.  Although I must admit I'm eternally grateful I didn't have to birth 5 at a time.  *snicker*

There are five pupppies scrunched up in there 2 black, 2 white, and one brown.  Funny color mixture I must say.

This fella I've been informed was born last.  I slept through it all.  *snicker*  This is Browny

One of the black fella's.  Look at the little itsy  bitsy paws.  They are all smaller then the kittys that we had this summer LOL  And both Rainee and Jer keep forgetting and referring to them as kittys.  *snicker*

And one of the little white ones.   They are stinkin' ugly at this point.  *snicker*  They are so pink on their ears and nose.  And yet they will be adorable soon.  And their kinda cute right now...in a ugly sorta way.

  • Early morning suprises

Achi our chihuahua gave birth to five little hamsters.  Okay there puppies, but they are the size of hamsters.  ITSY   2 black, 2 white and one brown.  They are adorable.  And Achi seems to be handling them like a pro.  I've rescued a couple from underneath her a couple times, but other then that she keeps washing them and loving them.

Two of them were born on Jamari's bed, and then the other three in the girls closet.  The girls got to watch several of them come out.  And we are having some highly amusing conversations as a result.   Kaylin thinks its disgusting.  And she apparnently gagged when she saw the green sack the baby came out in.

    Mommy just snickered.

Kaylin says.  "At least we weren't born like that.

Well....it was quite similar.   Only you didn't have meconium, that's poop.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW   the girls all ran from the room.  And I just laughed, and laughed, and laughed.

What a superb science lesson today.  And yes, I have pictures, but there not up yet, as my batterys died and need to be charged.

  • My saintly daughter

Rob pitched in this morning wrapping a couple pressy's and I wrapped the rest of the kiddos, so that we could then tackle the kids pressys.  Christmas at our house is about giving, so each child has a gift for each member of the family.  They are bought at the dollar store, but they were purchased with thought, and care.  Anyhow that was next on the list wrapping all of those.  Plus wrapping the gifts for the Christmas exchange my extended family does.  I called Zeria in and helped her wrap the gift for the name she drew, and realized she was quite capable of wrapping on her own.  I left her in my bedroom and she wrapped the rest of hers by herself.

I then helped Samuel with his, and half way through helping Kaylin my back just gave up.   It occured to me that Zeria would probably be able to help Kaylin, so I called her and she was quite willing.   Rainee kept asking when it was her turn to wrap, and I told her she'd have to wait until tomorrow 'til daddy could help, and Zeria came out and said.  "I'll help her."

She got all of the kids pressys wrapped by the time she was done.   The gifts for "my" family, and for this family.   It took her almost two hours, of helping the little ones.

She didn't do Jer's--daddy wants that honor.  *sniggers*    Anyhow I'm sooooooo greatful that much of the burden is gone.

I have umm 4 gifts left to wrap is all, and Rob actually likes wrapping them, so I'll probably sick him on them tomorrow.   Its all looking good.  Now if my back didn't throb...

  • I soooooooo agree with Wommie!  I want to be a kid and enjoy Christmas its too much work.  *snicker*

This being said I have organization in my bedroom.  And its officially a NO-kid-zone.  It took me off and on as my back would let me, but its done.  I also wrapped all of my 'ils pressys and have them in a box to mail.  After a bit of a sit I shall get it adressed and Rob can mail it tomorrow.  There's no point in mailing it today as the mail has already headed gone out for the day.  But it should still make it by Christmas provided we pay a bit extra.  This is normal LOL.

It feels good to have that much organized, and I will keep puttering as my back allows me.

  • Snickers at Becky.  I was sorely tempted to throw away everything in there....

Its a better day today.   Rob asked me if I needed anything done.  Which is always a bonus.  *snicker*  So the two of us finally put up coat hangers in our sun room, and the kids went and hung up all there coats on them.  It feels so nice to have that organized.  Now if the leaks Rob fixed are fixed they won't get rained on......

The connection between the new roof and old roof SUCKS.  Rob has been up there and up there, and it keeps leaking.  We finally put a tarp up in a desperate attempt to stop the rain coming in.   In February we will be putting a new roof on the old house which will jutt out over the new roof of the sunroom and stop all the issues, but in the meantime...the tarp will work.   And it can't be seen from the road so we don't look too much like poor white trash.

My next project is to begin wrapping Christmas presents.  First I have to organize said Christmas pressy's so I make sure I haven't missed anything.  I've been stockpiling since the first of September after all.

The irony is we don't actually buy our kiddos that much, we just have 6 kids.  *snicker*  Each kid gets one nice pressy, one outfit, and some new books.     On top of that of course I have the pressy's for Rob's family and my family.  And Rob's family should of have had there's mailed out last week.   So, today I have to get that organized and make Rob mail it all out tomorrow--its his family after all.  *snicker*

Stuffs to do, and all I want to do is sit and stare.....

  • Parenting Tip 551;

Do not attempt to clean your childrens bedroom when your already grumpy.

  • The inconsistent blogger.

WE have had storm after storm.  BIg windy gusts.  We lost another huge tree.  We amazingly didn't lose power completely, although it fluxuated on and off multiple times.  The server however that provides my DSL lost power for over 24 hours, thus we lost DSL.    Thus my latest excuse for disappearing.

I'm grumpy, weepy, and depressed today.  Its day 5 of my period...so I know why, it doesn't make it any easier to deal with.  HMMM, and I just realized its been 3 days since I took my paxil.  Life suddenly makes more sense.  *sigh*  At least I know why I'm crashing so bad.

All of my Christmas shopping is done, now I just have to wrap it all.  The kids have finished there shopping as well.   Its nice to have it taken care of.

I wanted everyone to know I'm alive, but in the current mood I'm in I'm not gonna blog any more.  It wouldn't be god edifying and I don't believe what I feel.  So I will ride this wave until I feel what I believe.

  • Look I have computer access.  My mouse died on Sunday, and I was unable to buy a new one until late yesterday evening.  You can NOT access xanga without one, trust me I tried.  You can't do a lot of things without one.

I need to learn some more keyboard commands, although I know a lot more then I did before Sunday.  *snicker*

Its been a long very busy week in which we've had two major wind storms, and are in the midst of a third one.  If I disappear or don't show up this evening it will be because we've lost our power (again).

It was gorgeous and clear last night, and soooo quiet.  It didn't last long...we're back to major wind and rain.  There anticipating gusts up to 100 miles per hour.  *joy and bliss*

I got Jer out of the van last night to carry him to the house, and he instantly saw the beautiful stars.  "WOW!"  He cheered as he looked at them.  "Yes, those are stars aren't they beautiful?  "Wow, stars, look stars."   He said cheering.  I turned him slightly and he points.  "MORE STARS!"  "Yes, aren't they pretty."  I turned a bit more.  "And MORE stars."   What a cheering section God had for his handiwork.  We stood outside for over five minutes just enjoying the More and More stars.

Life has been good, and ya know I kinda enjoyed not having computer access.

  • all of this afternoon has been spent trying to fix where they had to get in to undo the plug.

Rob is checking right now to see if it worked or if its leaking.

If you hear a really loud scream that means its not.

Right after that I will start crying, cause of my husbands intense grumpiness all day as he deals with this.  (not that I can blame him)

This whole day has just been one long pain in the neck.
