  • Good afternoon,

I did a job for myself this morning.  Rob, the kids and I cleaned out the garage.  We moved the lawn mowers to the hay shed, and threw away a bunch more of the previous owners CRAP.  Mostly old paint and stuff.   A bit of reorganization, and wala I have  a place to kick the kids out to when its raining cats, dogs, and elephants.

Last year it was sorta a okay place for them to play, but not great.  now its fairly roomy, plus they have the attic in the garage.  All in all they have a nice place to run-around in, or skate it etc.

They can get fresh air, but not drown, and my ears can get a much needed break.  *snicker*

Right now my ears are thanking me.

Other then that its Awana tonight, and I'm going to run to my moms to pick up the paperwork for the red van.  We've never transferred the stupid thing over into our name, and we need to as the tabs ran out two months ago.  Its the rainy season and Rob needs it to drive to work, its no longer feasible for him to bike...he comes back looking like he showered with all of his clothes on.

  • I too find that just having the kids move their noisy play further away from me helps my sanity.  I love listening to them play- I just like to be able to hear myself think at the same time : )

Hurrah for a roomy, tidy garage!
