  • You have 30 minutes to leave your house not knowing if you'll ever return to it.

What do you take with you.  You can only take what will fit in the current vehicle you drive.

Either blog about it, or leave a answer in your comments.

For me yesterday we had an hour.

And we brought clothes for all of us,  and grabbed all the photo albums.  They are *mostly* all in one place.  AFter yesterday they are again, and will stay that way.  Rob grabbed a Bible, I grabbed some reading material for all of us--a grocery bag half full of random stuff.

We also grabbed the three medicine baskets, and a laundry basket full of canned food.   That was it.  We rather forgot a hair brush.  *shrugs*  It didn't seem important somehow.  But we of course had wallets/purses/camera's.  Oh yes, and the computer--and backed up CD's.

What would you grab?  And why.

  • Dh would bring his computer and as much of the extras as he could (He'd also have to bring the older one as it has all MY stuff on it like pictures, etc. LOL)  Clothes, a few well liked book for all of us, the kids could each choose a favorite toy (they'd need something to do elsewhwere anyway), pictures, camera, purse, meds, whatever else we could get to fit in the van and car at the last minute. lol

  • I'd definitely take my photo albums and my computer, some of my important paperwork, some clothes to wear... would have been scary for you to have to think of what to take. I wouldn't like to be in that position at all.

  • that is a scary thought - i would try to take everything i guess mostly i would grab pictures and photo albums and computers and cd's - you're right - a hairbrush would be way low on the list - and we would grab the pets (2 dogs + 2 cats) - wow, is our suburban going to be full or what!
