  • Awana tree

Our Awana club does a community out reach.  EAch year they do a Christmas tree festival.

Between fifteen-twenty of us decorate Christmas trees.  They usually have some kind of theme.  In the past I've done children sleeping, umm Crystal night, and international dolls.   This year I'm doing the whole tree in bright colorful lollipops.

We do a silent auction for the trees, and then they are delivered in a truck by men from the church.

We've been doing this for almost fifteen years.  Its a lot of fun, and is a great way to start the Christmas season.

During the festival we also have singing, cookies, a live nativity scene, and several special speakers.  Its a fantastic amount of work, but its soooooooooo much fun.
