  • Quiet day today;

    I needed one.

    Its also beautiful outside...but FRICKIN' cold.

    I was able to purchase Voyagers on Ebay, and we watched the first episode as part of school.  This is NOT Star Trek Voyager.  ITs Voyagers.  It was a time-travel show that played just one season in the 80's.  They travel history "fixing" it where its wrong.  The premiere was about helping the Wright Brothers patch things up, so the Germans didn't win world war I due to there being no planes. kid

    It was well done, and quite enjoyable.  It is going to be a excellent little picture for my kids into history without knowing there getting it.  *snicker*

    Its my favorite kind of history.  I've always loved history movies, and historical novels.  It was fun to share it with the kids.

  • i used to love that show - you're right - it's full of history and the kids will pick-up some learning without realizing it - tee-hee!

  • Cold, eh?  You should move to Manitoba where it's nice and warm- for a winter day, that is.

    I love history as well though right now we are focusing on classics in our reading together.  I think I am going to start reading Heidi to the girls soon.  I own all three books- Heidi, Heidi Grows Up, and Heidi's Children.

  • Yay for History! By the way, you have such a gorgeous and amazing family - I hope you don't mind if I subscribe to you :)
