Awana went well, I'm tired.
Samuel melted down towards the end. He crashed and burned during game time. Crashed and burned on Zeria I might add. He survived that, but didn't survive the fact his sisters team won, and she got candy and he didn't.
My sympathy was NON-EXISTENT.
He claimed headache as well. I gave him some childrens motrin when we got home and sent him to bed. Tomorrow when we're not all tired we're gonna have another discussion about being good loosers.
There is no official Cubbies this year, but there is a high-schooler willing to work with Rainee on her book. Rainee had a blast with her, with the exception that Lydia had to go help push another leaders car out of the ditch. *snicker* Rainee got very very sad when Lydia left and she couldn't find mommy. (Lydia left her with the Sparkies.) So, another leader found me, and she was fine. Lydia came back, and Rainee promptly ditched me. Lydia will plan accordingly now, and have a on on one game time with Rainee etc. So that made Rainee very happy. We thought she wasn't going to get anything, but she did, and is ecstatic.
Jamari made me laugh for a good five minutes on the way home.
We got on the discussion of marrying and dating. We get in weird convo's in the van. Anyhow it got very serious about how you "pick" a good man/woman. And I was thinking oh wow I'm really imparting great wisdom to my children.
Jamari then announced. "When I get married, I'm gonna pick a woman who has horses."
So much for my wisdom.

Hehehe.. a woman who has horses.
My oldest attended Awana for the first time yesterday. Her friend invited her. I think she is going to enjoy this.
Have a Great Day!

Well, a man has to have his priorities.
LOL
Awww your Jamari has given me my morning laugh! I love it!
I love kids perspectives on things.
Horses are VERY important! He's a wise and discerning young man. *snicker*
We didn't have Awana's this week because of the fair. It's nice to have a break.
