Good morning
I can open and close my desk drawers now. And find what I need when I'm in them. Its a rather fruitless job because if any one place in the house is gonna immediately get trashed its there. The paper breeds, the garbage breeds. But I can see my desk top, and don't feel clausterphobic like something's gonna fall on me while I'm typing. I've learned much about being neat as an adult...but mastering the clean desk I haven't done yet.
It actually depresses me that I can't keep this space clean. I might make it my new resolution.
The men from Home Depot will arrive sometime this afternoon to install our new windows. i'm soooooo looking forward to clean windows I can see out of!
And tomorrow we are headed to town to get tires on our van so that next weekend we can go to Seaside. We haven't been in over a year, and we're all looking forward to it. Its about a 3.5 hour drive from here...we think. We've never drive there from here, but we know it cuts time off living here. We will stay in a KOA Kamping Cabin. The park has a indoor pool, and the gorgeous Oregon beaches are everywhere. Mommy also really likes the very nice Fred Meyer in Astoria which she doesn't have available here. All in all it should be a nice break. And we've declared we need one.
For a family of 8 we only have to pay $50 a night...which is astounding all things considered.
Other then that my kids are struggling with the play outside concept...but I think I might have convinced them the wrath of mommy is real.

Do a MapQuest and see what they say on mileage and time to get there.
And I did it for you:

I miss the ocean. We lived in MA for a bit and we lived about 5 minutes if that from the harbor and ocean. It is so beautiful! Have fun!
Have a fun time!!!!
yeah, i feel the same way about all the clutter on the computer desks - i did a pretty good clean-up not too long ago - but you would never know it from the looks of the desk tops! i'm convinced that the clutter breeds at nite - how else could it multiply so fast?!?!?
My desk stays a mess too.
Your vacation sounds wonderful! I will have to get to that area someday.
