This weeks photo blog is what’s in your fridge;
Rob didn’t want me to enter. The good news is I think he may be cleaning it out today. *snicker*
My photos are honest, I didn’t clean. Be prepared to be scared. The far away view. It appears there are at least two open jars of ketchup. *big surpise* Ahh yes and two jars of open mayo. (rolls eyes)
And lots of eggs. We are a family of 8 after all. LOL
Notice the careful stacking, and the clean presentation of our food, doesn’t it just make you hungry? *so not*
And please note the careful wrapping of veggies in Seran wrap to keep them fresh.. Woops apparently somebody was in a hurry. Please pay extra attention to the empty hot dog container under the green pepper–apparently which ever kid helped themselves to a snack forgot to remove the evidence. Bangs head on the desk. And the mystery item in the back of the fridge in the plastic container? DH threw it in the trash about 30 seconds ago…there are some things nobody wants to know.
What a lovely bunch of fresh crisp celery…actually I think it shoulda been thrown away three days ago. *shudders* Nice to see the watermelon got saran wrapped anyhow. *snicker* And in the back corner you *know* why we need the arm & hammer. Its the only reason we’re not sleeping out on the lawn thanks to this lovely not-so-clean fridge.
And one last for good measure.
Now you know why we have so much time to play…we used the time there instead of cleaning our fridge. *Snicker*

With 8 people around, there is no way you could have a neat refrigerator—unless you became a real nag! When I saw what the challenge was this week, I said a little prayer of thanks that it wasn’t the challenge a couple weeks ago. A little voice in my head kept telling me “You NEED to clean the fridge”. Now I know why! lol There was some pretty cruddy stuff I threw out not so long ago.
When we visit our oldest son across the state, I always get a kick out of their fridge. They have 6 kids, and daughter-in-law runs a daycare in their home, too. So there is always food put away haphazardly. It has gotten better as the kids have gotten older. They actually have two fridges. One for milk, soda, juices—-and beer for my son.
OH, you are so brave!!! I have been thinking about doing the challenges again…. Darn, my batteries are dead!!! LOL I am NOT as brave!! ROFL (but if I GET brave, I will post them and let you know)
I have a nice sparkling clean fridge thank you very much.
ONLY because we just moved in and haven’t had adequate time to trash it yet.
Now the one we had to clean when we left…that was another story. LOL
LOL! I love it! Your guided tour is hysterical!! I give you a hundred eprops for not cleaning it all up first.
I don’t know if I’ll be that brave? Good job!
My hubby told me I should have done a before and after pic! Hahahahah ~ I really should have
I actually did clean it up not too long ago so I didn’t have to do too much but I still threw some things away and wiped. The last time I cleaned it up before this time I had an onion in the crisper that was growing. I know it was over a foot long ~ it’s top was. I don’t cook very much. The guided tour was a hoot as mama_squirrel said! Thanks for being so brave (heheheh!)
You are very brave! Great job! Thanks for participating this week!

Bonnie
Did you sneak in and take pictures of MY fridge????? Hugs, Jo
I am amazed at the number of eggs.
And no milk???
A family of EIGHT???? Well I must admit that my fridge looks quite similar to yours w/o all the eggs, 2 mayo jars and a host of other stuff. (no hotdog wrappers in mine, for sure!)
Hehehehe! Sooo Funny! As a family of 8 I so can relate! I about fell over with the empty hot dog wrapper! I mean, yesterday the hubby asked why a yougurt was sitting empty with a spoon in it IN THE FRIDGE? Must have been the 4 year old who thought that was the way to act like it wasnt missing hehehhe!
RYC: Thanks for the reminders that He never leaves us… sometimes I forget that when I’m begging to see change that isn’t yet here.
It’s too funny. First your husband didn’t want you to post and now he’s cleaning. We need more challenges like this!
okay…if he’s cleaning i say the next challenge is…what’s in your closet? and my fridge looks like that and we are just 4…thanks for the laugh!
Umm.. this was my fridge yesterday.. I finally got it cleaned out.. ewwww..
Family of 8.. have you thought about getting chickens?? We are a family of 4 and I am over-run with eggs.. lol.. but we love our chicks.
I am curious about the photoblog challenge.. can you share a link?? or was there one and I missed it.. ?
I always enjoy reading your site!
I love it! Honesty is a great thing.
your frig looks cleaner than mine! same story – we are a familyof 8 too, but for some reason, we have tons of leftovers in lots of plastic containers (we call them all ‘tupperware’ but i doubt i have any tupperware anymore) stacked everywhere in the frig – thanks for the motivation – i am going to clean out my frig now
Mine is worse…and there’s only two of us now!
Great post.
GREAT. Love it!!! You win!
I love the amount of eggs! Thanks for sharing – and being honest too
