  •           This weeks photo blog challenge is Shades of gray.   It is the perfect choice for someone who lives in the Pacific Northwest--and roos the gray all winter long.  LOL   I have these offerings from pictures I've taken over the last while.  I've been making myself look differently, so some of them are abstract.  I particularly like the one with of the sand with the reflection of the bit of blue sky and cloud in it.   And the one of the stump isn't "just" gray--but man close enough to count.  LOL

    I think I've come to rely on the computer too much.  *snigger*


    Every Saturday before a spring forward or fall back, Zincwhiskers always puts up a little reminder.  Since I've been xanga'ing for almost four years, I've come to depend on her little reminder.


    Well as you all know I took a wee break, and my back was sore as well, so I missed the reminder.  The kiddos were ready for church, so I turned on the tv to let them watch.  And the time was wrong on the sattelite.  I stared at it kinda weird, and tried to "fix" it.


    I looked at my watch and clock, and they both had the "right" time.


    DH finally wandered out, and I asked him.  He blinked a couple times.  And says  "This is Spring forward day."


    OOOOPS.


    The kids were about 8 minutes late to SS.  *snigger*  Good thing we were dressed early.


    My back is finally feeling like it *might* be mending.  I had a lovely swim yesterday which always loosens things up.  And Rob hit a pressure point last night that just loosened things.  Now if we could just find that pressure point the next time....

  • I am not going to be doing anything rash about my online time.


    I am however cutting back in certain areas.


    I will not be using aim in the day time when my kids are awake.  I have an inability to be a good mom when its on.


    I will peak into the boards, and post occasionally, but am going to be setting myself a time limit.


    I will not be getting on from Friday to Sunday except maybe to peak at email and xanga.  Something I have mostly done already.


    So, that's the game plan, we'll see how it goes.
