Help me out please; Cause I'm an ignoramous.
We've decided for several reasons that Samuel will be getting a video game for his birthday. And the last video game I played was a Nintendo 64. I know there are lots of options out there. Could someone please tell me what's the best choice?
TIA

Hmmm.......a game system eh? Well, if you don't want to spend too much, there's the Gamecube. It's only one-hundred dollars brand new. I've got a Gamecube and it's really a good system, and the games are fun.You could also get a used X-box. Although I'm not sure how much a used x-box is....I got mine brand new and it was over one-hundred Dollars. Here's a link that might be of help.

If you have more questions just ask.
We are looking at a gamecube by nintendo. They seem to have the best kid friendly games, aren't THE newest and best so less expensive--we may even get one used. They have a gameboy, but we want something they can play together and take turns with rather than fight over. LOL The gameboy is small and hard to play with another person--it's great for traveling across country though. LOL
Definitely Nintendo Gamecube, although I will tell you that Nintendo is coming out with a new system for Christmas this year so Gamecube is going to be old in December. We have a Gamecube and it has a ton of kid-friendly, non-violent games. We love it!
We don't have a Gamecube, but that is what I was going to recommend too.
I'd go with the Nintendo GameCube as well. It's the system that's easiest to get kiddie games for, by far. Nintendo systems are also really durable -- I've tripped on my brother's 'Cube and knocked it across the room, but it still works just fine.
Do you ever get to pawn shops? If you do then getting more games shouldn't be too much of a problem. If you don't then you may have trouble finding games after the new Nintendo system comes out in December -- after that, all the new games will be for the new system instead of for the 'Cube.
Why do you want one?
we have the following - playstation 1, nintendo64, playstation 2, gamecube and xbox - frankly, i don't know which one is best - i'll ask my resident experts (i.e., my boys 13-12-11) about it in the morning. we shop at EB Games quite frequently - they have good deals on used games and game systems.
We have Gamecube.....the kids all enjoy it......from the 4 year old to the older ones......
