  • On a none-easter front.


    My parents have found us a guest house. A man who owns a tract of land next to a tract of land my father owns has a little single wide modular he wants to get rid of.  Its in excellent condition, firm foundation, and has recently had 98% of the sheetrock replaced in it.  The guy wants it gone off the property.  My parents have very much been wanting to build/place something on our property so they can have a run-away place.  Yes our property is that gorgeous.  LOL


    So, my mom is finding someone to haul it out, and we're going to set it up over beside the river.

    It will need a new roof in the next year or two, but so does what we're living in, so we'll do it all at the same time.  It also needs a toilet--for $69.  *Snigger*


    All in all its a major blessing from God, and we are thrilled.    We believe strongly God provided this property for us to use as a sanctuary, and we now have other ways besides camping to offer it up to those who need a "free" break.

  • Are there fish in that river? Our vacation land plans fell thru (I need to blog that) But my kids would love to play with yours (plus they babysit too! )

  • WHOO HOO  Xanga meeting at Tonia's place!   I'm quite ready to head that direction after it hit *100* today!!  It's mid-April for goodness sake--I'll send over more than 20 degrees of it if you would like.   This better not be a taste of what is coming this summer or I'm moving to Alaska with hubby or not. LOL  O.k. maybe just for the summer.   Did I mention I HATE the heat...  Why I ended up here, I'll never know.  I have to confess I have acclimatized to it, but NOT for April! LOL

  • where do we sign up for the reservations??? you need to create a check-in type log for us to stake our claim to weeks of the year! ROFL!!!!!
