  • Jer has one favorite toy over absolutely everything in the house.  It is the most exasperating toy in the world.  Hazardous to healthy, life, and limb.  And as a result NEVER where it should be when mommy and daddy actually want to use "his" toy.  I really should just go get a new one, and let him have that one.  He carries it around the house by the hour.

I was feelin' in a artsy fartsy mood or something.  Actually I just love having a picture of the view I see when I nurse.  Its a major amount of time I've invested in each of their lives, and I want to be able to grin and remember the bonding time I spent with them.

Samuel begged me to put this one up, and take it.  He felt it necessary to teach Jeremiah how to play pretend today.  Jer wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with it.  *Snicker*  And removed the cape immediately each time.

And yes this is a Jer blog what can I say.  But I do have to put up one picture of our floor as well.  Its looking good.  There's a little bit of trim stuff's to do, but basically its done.  And I'm very happy with the clean factor.  *cheers*

The green stuff up against the wall is the underlayment that needs to be trimmed away with an exacto knife, but Rob ran out of oomph.  LOL

  • Video Sharing at DropShots.com

Jer found this most delightful toy today compliments of the drawers being removed from the computer. *giggles*

  • Woo my computer is back plugged in, and nothing got messed up, and I lived with out it for the whole eight hours.  *snicker*

And my floor is soooooooooo close to being done.  DH is just doing the last little strip along the last wall.  It needs to be cut as its about 2 inches wide all the way along.  And yes I'll post pictures when its all done.

  • Good morning

I actually have six kids upright and moving around.  Its been awhile since they all looked almost alive.  Their a bit cranky, and they have lots of sniffles, but their moving.  This is a very very good thing.

The floor is a laminate, and it is individual tiles that are built like tongue and groove.  It is glueless, and "pops" together.  Except of course its not quite that simple, as you have to bang on this special thing to put them into place, so they don't unpop.  And you have to cut them to fit all the things like doorways, hearths, and hallways.   The cutting is what slowed Rob waaaaaaaay down yesterday.  The many angles, and math, and messing with things to get them to look right.

The entryway we will both admit didn't turn out completely awesome, but we always have a throw rug down there anyhow *snicker*  so nobody will EVER notice.

I hung a bunch of pictures last night that had been propped on window sills, and always ended up being MESSY with a capital M.

Now, I just need to make curtains and the living room will look  finished and put together, well when DH finished the rest of the floor that is.

I am shutting my computer down in about 30 seconds, so we can move the stuff out of this alcove.  I will be offline most of the day.

  • The floor isn't finished quite yet, but it rather looks like it in this picture, and thought you might like a sneak-peak.

Its coming together quite nicely.  We even have some of our furniture back in, so Rob has a place to collapse, as he won't be finishing it tonight.  LOL

  • We're slowly working our way into the land of the living.  DH had already asked for these days off several weeks ago, it was supposed to just be a "break"  HAHAHAHA

Anyhow.  A bunch of kiddos are coughing, and Rainee is still really miserable.  Zeria is close behind.  But I'm crossing my fingers that we're on the way up, instead of into another bug.

Rob is installing our floor today.  So far so good.  At some point my computer will have to be dismantled so we can do the floor here.  We may wait until tomorrow depending on how things go.

Needless to say not much online time today either.  So, we shall try when it happens.

  • And the plague has hit our house.

I think we have two different bugs running rampet.   And several of the kids haven't gotten both bugs.

One bug is a horrific fever and nasty chest cold.

The second bug is a horrific fever, puking, and then a chest cold.

    Such fun.

And dh has finally succomed.  So, my online time is nonexistent.  I have kids to cuddle, and serve, and my own plague to baby.  I'll be back when there are two adults right-side up, and at least four kids.

  • Darn the snow didn't stick, so we have to head to Bremerton.  *snicker*

I'm not really excited about being trapped in the van with the kids for that long.  But we shall manage.

They are of course thrilled, and ecstatic that they are going.

Probably there won't be a ton of pictures, as its a HUGE room and really hard to get clear ones, but we shall see.

The snow did make a pretty light frosting, but nothing too bad.  And there sure were gorgeous big flakes falling down.

Anyhow I'll be back Saturday evening.

  • If I run out of time tomorrow, I am headed out of town over night (provided the snow doesn't stick).

The kiddos have Sparksarama in Silverdale, and we will be staying over night in Bremerton as the drive is just a bit too long to do in one day.

  • And I didn't even work to get it. *snicker*
