Good morning

I haven't advertised the book I have on my list in quite awhile. It goes well with my blog I did last night.
I highly, strongly recommend it to anyone with a child who has some form of health issue. Wether it be asthma, diabetes, exczema, or add. Its just a hand up. Its not about dealing with a specific disease. Its about allowing yourself to feel for yourself and your child. Its about praying, and trusting God through it, etc.
Its superb.
I had fun at the stores yesterday. LOL I found a perfect little table thing to set up my scrapbooking on. I wanted a place I could leave a book open and come back to it. I also found a identical stand up lamp to the one I already have. At Goodwill for $5. LOL
So I finally have the light fixtures I need in the living room. I hate living in the dark.

I also have writing utensils for school again. We had to literally scower the whole house yesterday to find three. And I was almost to the point we were gonna have to run to the local store and spend way too much just so they could write. *growls*
Other then that life moves on.
Oh and Tracy? I suspect Rainee's lung function is very similar to yours. LOL. I know it was very bad when she was tiny, but she's a bit young to be able to take them the way big kids do. And the irony of Zeria's test. Is she DIDN"T have asthma when she was being tested. She was breathing fine, and sounded fine. Which is the part that boggled me.

What is the name of hers? Mine is bronchopulmonary dysplasia (I *think* I spelled that right. LOL) And I can't find anything online about it for adults. LOL ALL of it is info for preemie parents and say they will most likely outgrown it. Well, maybe now they can with new technology, etc., but what about us who ARE grown and STILL have it? lol But therein lies my point, when I was born they simply didn't know, had a different name of it, and I was all but a guiene pig to "watch and see what happens" And I NEVER had any symptoms of asthma, with multiple xrays and tests to prove so my whole childhood, so when I saw a dr. just before getting married who tried to convince me that all I had, I was looking at him like he'd lost his mind. ROFL I don't think he even read my chart. He was explaining the symptoms expecting me to totally agree with him and seemed irritated when I kept saying, "No, I don't have that problem" It was my first experience at a dr. without my mom being present to set things straight and once I realized this guy wasn't truely concerned with my real issues and questions I just gave up and said fine whatever, just get me out of here. LOL Now though since I've had Jesse, I have started having some kind of symptoms so when my most recent dr. suggested I could be developing a bit of asthma I am slightly more likely to agree. LOL He also actually had an xray and function tests to go along so it's not like he was just pulling it out of thin air.
Even with an inhaler and whatever else they use to treat asthma, my function will never be 100% as "normal." kids ( and I suppose adults also?) can have. And it IS normal to loose a bit of function with age...I just hope I don't loose mine faster than normal, that would suck since I'm starting with less to begin with.
