  • Voice of Truth;  Casting Crowns

    Oh what I would do to have
    The kind of faith it takes
    To climb out of this boat I'm in
    on to the crashing waves

    To step out of my comfort zone
    Into the realm of the unknown where Jesus is
    And He's holding out His hand

    But the waves are calling out my name
    And they laugh at me
    Reminding me of all the times
    I've tried before and failed
    The waves they keep on telling me
    Time and time again. "Boy, you'll never win!"
    "You'll never win!"

    Chorus:
    But the Voice of Truth tells me a different story
    The Voice of Truth says, "Do not be afraid!"
    And the Voice of Truth says, "This is for My glory"
    Out of all the voices calling out to me
    I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of Truth

    Oh what I would do to have
    The kind of strength it takes
    to stand before a giant
    With just a sling and a stone

    Surrounded by the sound of a thousand warriors
    Shaking in their armor
    Wishing they'd have had the strength to stand

    But the giant's calling out my name
    And he laughs at me
    Reminding me of all the times
    I've tried before and failed
    The giant keeps on telling me
    Time and time again. "Boy you'll never win!"

    But the stone was just the right size
    To put the giant on the ground
    And the waves they don't seem so high
    On top of them lookin' down
    I will soar with the wings of eagles
    When I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus
    Singing over me

    Chorus:
    But the Voice of Truth tells me a different story
    The Voice of Truth says, "Do not be afraid!"
    And the Voice of Truth says, "This is for My glory"
    Out of all the voices calling out to me (calling out to me)
    I will choose to listen and believe-

    I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of Truth

    I will listen and believe
    I will listen and believe the Voice of truth
    I will listen and believe
    Cause Jesus you are the voice of truth
    And I will listen to you, you are-

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I scared myself today, and I listened to lies in my head.   I lost my focus, and suddenly missing shoes became more important then so many other things.
    I'm taking an online break.   I can't say when I'll be back.  It might be tomorrow.  It might be never.   I'm doing some serious praying.   And as I drove into town in between tears, and fears.  This song came on on the radio.  I'm in the process of downloading it on another window.  Man it hit me over the head, and between the eyes.
    God gave it to me.
    And then at my chiropractors.  Remember she's a childhood friend?  She listened to me, and I didn't share all, just some.  She massaged, adjusted, and then she had me sit down, and she prayed with me.
    The rest of the day was a lot of fun.  The kids and I enjoyed ourselves, we had our Cubbies closing ceremony, and we had some good giggles on the way home.
    My number one priority in my life is my God.
    My number two priority is my husband.
    My number three priority are my children.
    I've completely lost track of the priorities.  And things are going to change.  Period.  God has forgiven my burst of anger, and so has my very very generous son.   And so I'll be back, or not.
  • I'm headed out to Sequim, which is a 2 hour drive one way, and then to Awana, so I won't be home until 9:30 tonight, at which point I'll collapse in bed.
    *waves*
    I'm so grumpy.
    And of course there are at least two kiddos without shoes that they "just" don't know where their at.
    It used to be I could grump at them, well now Jer thinks shoes are a marvelous toy, so its not just  their fault.  I am sick of paying money for shoes thank you very much.
  • Poor Poor dh
    he finally replaced the tube in Kaylin's bicycle as she's been without it for almost two weeks.  Fixed Zeria's flat, and was so exited...and Kaylin's chain fell off.
    I'm just gonna sit here and chuckle
    From a nice safe distance away.
  • Good morning
    No ice this morning.  Which is a good thing.  I feel sorta okay, but I can feel it just holding on by a tiny little string.
    I guess no miracles today.  And man I so have to do school.  *sigh*  Its very very hard to do school when one is in pain, cause its very hard to be nice when a child starts pitching a 'tude.  Its one of those moments that I seriously envy the p/s moms.  LOL
    But then I remember last night and Samuel's nightmare.  Sam very very rarely has nightmares.  But twice since we moved here he's woke up just devastated.  When I ask him whats wrong he said.  "I thought you were gone.  You and daddy were gone."  And he clung to me like he never ever wanted to let me go.  Just makes me weep.  So, I guess I'll keep plugging on for those reasons.
    Yesterday I pushed through the pain long enough to help the girls make unbaked chocolate cookies.  Kaylin thanked me again this morning for letting her help.  I guess it was worth the extra pain last night.
    But man I hate having to push, pull and drag myself.  Welcome to life I know.
    Its been gorgeous the last two days just beautiful spring days.   I would love to get out and weed, but since I can barely use my right shoulder, I think I'll pass.  LOL    I will be getting an appointment with the chiropractor when they open.   I'm going back to the one in Sequim, who I just think is more thorough.  She checks range of motion in ALL  your body, and does a 10-15 minute massage before adjusting.   On Monday I was in with Kirk less then five minutes.   I don't think you can decide whats "really" wrong in that amount of time.
    Hmmm, maybe we could do school out on the deck, so at least we could enjoy the sunshine.  *grin*
    Last night I snuck down to the river for a few minutes with the kids--which is probably what finished off toasting my back, as I ended up having to carry Jer for a bit.
    But we had fun regardless, and I shot this;
  • Do you know what's better then one ice pack?
    TWO.
    Apparently I'm headed backwards--I'm just not nearly as impressed with the chiropractor in Forks.  Which unfortunately means a drive to Sequim to the one I like.
    *sigh*
    I'm praying for a miracle between now and tomorrow morning, cause I have more important things to do then make a 2 hour drive one way to get "fixed"
    I'm so so sorry about leaving everybody hanging on the r/p boards.  But I can't sit at the monitor more then 2 minutes at a time.
  • Testing levels of stupidity.
    Okay if you saw this in freecycle;
    We recently bought a house and property in Clallam Bay.   It was set-
    up to be a campground, something we do not wish to continue.  We have
    approximately 50 picnic tables in varying condition.  And 50 metal
    fire pits.  First come first serve.
    Would your first question be where are these located?
    I'm getting rather sick of the question myself.  They are located in Clallam Bay.  d'uoh.
    I was also highly impressed with the lady who wanted me to deliver it to her house.  *snort*  Go fish!
    That being said all the tables are gone--there was less then I suspected, well gone if everybody actually shows.
    And a lot of the fire pits.  But I'm really tired of answering where their located.  *snigger*
    update.  Oh my word. Another.  I'm in Sequim, where are these located?
    How totally stupid can you get???????????
    Shoots rubberbands at Zincwhiskers--she deserves it
    So the pictures of the night we watched the sunset.   This is out at Neah Bay.  The first one is Rainee Bug all bundled up.  And yes she is wearing a skirt.  Rainee doesn't like pants, and rarely wears them.
     100_1493
    And Jeremiah exploring the aftermath of a wave.  And yes it was as cold as it looks in the pictures.  He's actually wearing two coats in that picture, and he still ended up snuggled in with daddy.
    The sun was about 25 minutes from setting in these pictures, but already making some lovely glows on peoples faces.   We all just stood and stared at it.   In between times we watched the two quads and the 4x4 pickup that was squirling around about a half mile away.  It looked like fun, Rob and I were jealous!  LOL
    This picture is just a bunch of the kids, watching, playing, and desperately trying to keep warm.
    The boys didn't make it until the sun was fully set--they thought it was a teensy bit boring.  *giggles*  But nevertheless here is Samuel sillouheted in the view.
    Zeria liked how mommy looked in the sun, so asked if she could take a picture.  I think its about to become my new profile picture.  *beams*  I so wish she had taken better care of the camera I got her, because she's got a good eye for pictures.
                                                                             100_1495
    And yes I'm not wearing socks in that picture, and yes it was stupid.  LOL
    100_1502
    And that would be Jeremiah--telling us that he's freezing cold, and he thinks sunsets are highly overrated, and very very boring.  LOL
    And I took several actual sunset pictures, but I think this one is the "best" moment of it.
    Look a picture finally loaded.  This is Kaylin on her birthday.  I so love this picture.  Okay and this one too.
    The light was so perfect for these, I was so psyched over the way they turned out.  Just fun.
                                                        100_1462
    And a still of Kaylin blowing her candles out.  Have I mentioned how excited I am some of the pictures are uploading?  LOL
    100_1470
                          Okies those are the ones that I was *burning* to share.  *grin*
    I have some really lovely scenery pictures I took, but I will load them tomorrow when hopefully I can sit upright at the computer again.
  • Ice is my friend.
    I got my back put in, I know from experience I'll feel good tomorrow, but today I feel like crap.
    I'll return when I feel like a human.
  • I have a chiropractor apointment late this morning.  *cheers*  After that I will be civil  LOL  In the meantime okay I'll do this.  *snigger
