Good morning.
I must have that energy I had yesterday still.
Cause I've already been in my closet getting three boxes of books for Zeria to unpack, and two boxes of scrapbooks. I think we have one more book of boxes to undo, and then everything is completely unpacked.
I still have corners of the house I would like a bit better organized, like they were in my old house, but one thing at a time.
I finally finished a scrapbook, so wanted the other one that was *almost* finished. (Jers baby book)
Each of my kiddos has a very nice baby book. After that their gonna have to pay for their own copies of pictures. LOL
Although probably what will happen is at some point I will take a deep breathe and continue on in that process. But to maintain individual albums for 6 ,kiddos is very very expensive not to mention extremely overwhelming. So, at least they have a VERY nice scrapbook.
And Jer's officially a year old which is what I scrapbooked for the others, so I would like to finish his, so I can go back to tackling my old photos.
The album I finished was pictures of me from birth-2nd grade. The album turned out really nice, and I was quite excited about it.
The next album I will do will be me from 3rd-7th grade. I started taking pictures in the 3rd grade with my parents camera, and then with a teensy little thing they bought me, so I have quite a bit more in that time period. And in the middle of the 7th grade I moved. So the time break makes sense.
My college pictures are completely organized as I did that at the time, and their in "safe" albums. So those are ok. My high school pictures are in the magentized ones, so I would like to get those out onto something else. But they are also organized.
I also am trying to maintain a family scrapbook, and am about two years behind on that. The hope is to eventually photocopy the family copy and give it to all the kids. (EVENTUALLY--you know when they each turn 30
) So, lots of projects.
I've been surfing ebay and looking at scrapbooking stuff, and I really can't justify that until I actually use some of the supplies I have. *giggles*
Kaylin's birthday is taken care of in style thanks to Ebay. She asked for My Little Ponys, and man does she have them. I just might have gone overboard...ya know that whole can't resist a deal thing?
My sis and bil are coming over for dinner for the first time since we moved tonight. I am going to try very very hard to not overdo it today so I can enjoy them. But its sunny outside, and the weeds are calling, and lots of otherthings. So, we shall see what wins. Not to mention the house needs a bit of tidying so we don't scare them too badly. Although Rob has promised he will do that when he gets home. So, life.
Busy, and hectic, and so much more fun when the sun is shining!!
