  • *Hands her an oar...erm, maybe two.*  *g*

  • I feel for you...we're flooded...inside

  • Sat here too. Two blocks down the road? They're sandblocking against the McKenzie. I sort of stood up and blinked.

    No word here yet. Jerry's is our backyard and it's all free if there's trouble. I drove out a little yesterday to measure out the river from here. I might actually be closer to the McKenzie or Mohawk here than I was to the Yuba. I'm going to check again. LOL. Crazy, eh?

  • OH man... you guys are really getting a soaking!

  • LOL  Your post actually made me giggle.  We get that in the spring when it downpours and dumps an inch of rain in like 30 min.  The ground just can't absorb it quick enough.  BUT it does go down after a couple hours once the skies clear.  Besides, right now it's so dry it's probably going to pool up with the ground in shock that it's actually wet again.

  • just ain't nothing like a monsoon - water above one's knees in an afternoon of rain...

    thanks for your comment.  old bird and i will be together one way or another until one of us dies - but i don't think it will have the shape i want, as he's so skittish about romance and navigating it successfully....  sigh.

  • Please send it here... we need it to get rid of the fires. :}

  • That's A LOT of water! Does it always rain so much this time of year?
