Month: December 2005

  • One of these things is not like the other.   One of these things is not quite the saaaaaaaame.

Our stressed out kittys were so mellow when they moved, they let Achi snuggle up with him.   Can you figure out which one *isn't*  a cat?

And just in case we might forget her...we have Kaylin all packed.  *snigger*  Actually they just thought the empty moving boxes were great toys yesterday.  Well they were great toys.   The kids decorated them, and made forts out of them, and it was all kinds of fun

And this...this is our river.   The reason this property was a instant must buy.

The visit with 'ils is going ok.   The house is reasonably tidy if not feeling quite like mine yet.

I'll load more picys when DSL gets here, and I'm not paying long distance fees to be online.

  • I found the camera cord...but its buried in my van somewhere.  It got left in the schoolhouse.  LOL

So, pictures when we find the energy to empty the van.  hahahaha

My 'ils were two hours later then originally planned for and
exhausted.  So after putting up with hyper kiddos waiting for
grandparents...they got to see them less then ten minutes before they
    headed back to their motel.

They are worse today.   My 'ils were *supposed*  to have
been here 45 minutes ago...and the hyperness continues.

The snow that Washington got?  We have none.  *cheers*   I just couldn't deal with it right now.  LOL

And the snow was why my 'ils were late last night, they had to drive in
it.   I don't know why their late this morning, but if they
don't come soon, I'm gonna drive the two miles to their motel, and drop
    6 kids on their door-step

    Oh, man can I????

We managed to get all the boxes out of the living room and kitchen, and
the kids bedrooms.   So, we have functioning space while
    their here.

The laundry room and the master bedroom?  Oh, just NOT pretty.  *snigger*

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!   But Rome wasn't built in a day, and
moving a family of 8 can NOT be done in 3 days.  *snigger*

And I have a sense of humor....so life is apparently mostly good.

  • Lfe looks better this morning.   My keyboard doesn't want to type I's.  Oh look there's one.  *snicker*

Rob ended up not having to work last night, that helped immensely.

I found the energy to get the boxes out of the living room (not
necessary away ROFL)  So at least we have a place to sit and visit
    with the -ils.

And yes, we can put them to work.  I just wish that we didn't have
to.   We only get to see them twice-to three times a
year.   And I hate to see them slaving the whole time.

The list for Rob's dad grows long.  *snort*    2
plug ins not working.   2 doorhandles not closing,  a
shelving unit to put up in the laundry room, a swing set to put
up.    Hehehehe can he stay a month?
Rob's dad is much handier then Rob.   *grin*   This
is cause Rob's dad refused to teach his boys.  (no
patience)   I actually see the same tendancy in Rob...but
keep poking him about it.  It was kinda funny cause Rob's brother
saw the same tendancy and really read Rob the riot act this summer
(when fil wasn't in the room.)    Of course Devon had a
six week old at the time and no olders, so he doesn't exactly have a
    say.   *snicker*

Actually I'd just be happy if the shelving unit could go
up.    We are reenacting our laundry room in this
house.    Rob has said we can go get the stuff we need
and just set it up right.   We have to head to town anyway.

We decided we're not doing a lot of packing the old house.  Its
*mostly* empty.   We're gonna stuff in the van what we
can.  (extension cords would be good)   And then close
our eyes and walk away.   We have until a week from next
WEdnesday to get out.   I'd like to be somewhat sane when my
'ils are here.     It was a good decision to make.

We wouldn't even go in except we need to return the U-haul
truck.   And we may as well do something while we are there.

I'm also rather hoping to hit Goodwill and see if I can get one more
lamp.   We have no overhead lights in the living
room...somehow missed observing that before.   Oh that would
be because of the insane amount of junk in the house when we saw it.

The house is starting to feel a bit more like home.     The panick is less.

We observed I've had a meltdown the same time of night both
days.   (6:30)   Must be my tired time.  LOL

Was gonna share a picture or two...but not entirely sure where the Kodak camera cord is.  LOL
