  • woo we managed to do school with a Zeria 'tude.

This is a red-letter day.  *snicker*

Came close a couple times...but I was able to say quietly.  "ARe you being angry?"   And she would look at me and fix it.   *cheers*   She struggles soooo hard with this mood.  Of course I relate entirely too well to it all.

Its icky today.   I'm tired of icky and ready for summer thank you very much.

Ran to the p/s today and filled out a building use agreement form.  Already had the principal's blessing just had to do the formality.   Its done.

Did that *before* Rob went to work...really didn't want to explain six kids towing behind me during a visit to the school.....even if it *isn't* there district.

Other then that just kinda quiet.  Been editing 74 pictures I took of church and SS stuff yesterday.   I doubt I'll share them as I don't have peoples per.   Their going to be used on my varying bulletin boards and in a power point at the beginning of church.

Hmmmm I smell stinky.   Jeremiah thanks.     *waves*  The day moves on.

  • wow what an incredibly loooooooooong day!

    LONG!

Our new SS summer started today.   We are doing joint SS for H.S. down to babies.   It is being done rather like VBS.   But in a hour format.  Games, stories, craft time etc.  Its a major undertaking, but going to be a lot of fun--and completely family oriented.   Rob and I are playing ummm cop.  *Snicker*   We're just being extra voices to say SHHH!

I will also be doing object lessons, and Rob some story reading.

Then normal church worship service.  Afterwards we loaded up and headed to the head of the Lyre River which is at a corner of Lake Crescent and had a baptismal for six.     It was brief as it was trying to rain.  *Snicker*

Then we raced (okay drove politely) BACK to church where we had potluck.  (had given kids a snack to hold them off)

AFTER potluck we had a church meeting to discuss and vote on a bunch of constitution ammendments.   It was a LONG meeting 2.5 hours.  My poor, poor kids.   But it was highly productive, and did not get nasty.    Of course there were several thick people...this is normal.  *snigger*

We've been  home for all of an hour.

    And man I'm tired.

Tomorrow I have to run to the school and do a use agreement for the school building for baccalaureate, and then onto our school day.

BAccalaureate has all the details worked out.   *cheers*   I just have to set up Saturday, and everything else will be done by someone else.  *grin*

  • The banner for the new story we're working on....

    maybe

  • sniff sniff sniff I've had a half hour to clean my room and its not clean...and moms coming to check-up on me...and she's gonna throw my toys away and its not fair.

    Waaaaaaaah

Of course if I had cleaned during that half hour...or for the last ten minutes instead of sniffing something *might* have gotten accomplished....

    kids!

Speaking of kids.  Kerri you can feel quite good.  Cause Zeria had another meltdown.

But then so did mommy.   I went in the bedroom and informed Rob I was *not* homeschooling Zeria anymore.  If she wanted to learn she was going to have to beg on bended knee.   I didn't care if she was an ignoramous.

Of course ten minutes later I was out trying again.

    Mommys meltdown.  LOL

Its good to breathe.   Day went much better after that...well except for the meltdown...

goes to scare my kids into cleaning.

  • Pass the tator tot  sorry its only a U.S. thing...and rather goofy at that.

    Its a day.

I'm praying through it, as I'm not precisely happy right now.   It will pass...it typically does.   And if it doesn't...I'll pray some more.

Rob is outside weedeating.   It was needed desperately.       Our weedeater has been dead for two weeks.  My husband....great man that he is...should NEVER be trusted with lawn equipment.  *snicker*

I have a couple roses blooming.   *grin*   And cause I never pruned my roses 2 beautiful yellow blooms are visible from my window.  soooooooo pretty.  *grin*

I'm starting to suffer from story withdrawals.   I'm gonna start e-mailing my writing partner in character if I don't get a fix soon.   Didn't think I was quite this addicted.  *snicker*

I haven't eaten breakfast.    I need to.   Do you think chips and salsa would be acceptable?  I don't do cereal--too much sugar.  And I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sick of eggs

Want eggs?  We still have 7 dozen.   UGH  WE finally told the neighbor NO more.

And we have no heart to eat what we have left.  There must be a way to cook eggs that doesn't look, taste or smell like eggs.

Samuel is currently holding Jeremiah--what a nice brother.   Their reading a coloring book together.  *snicker*

Zeria and Jamari are "folding" laundry.   We'll never find anything...but hey we have empty laundry baskets now.   Man.....I've sunk to a new low.

Finally brethren whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are true.  IF there be any virtue or any praise think on these things.

  • Good evening

    Been a day

Did the chiropractor today--and am quite achey.  Hopefully tomorrow I will feel good.  Fairly normal to feel out of joint right now.

Snuck into Costco on the way home and picked up new scrapbooking pens--mine were 3 plus years old and just dead.

I finished Rainee's babybook scrapbook yesterday.  So now my five oldest all have books.  *grin*

    Today I started JEremiahs.

Other then that just been gimping around.
