Good morning
My helper is coming today. *grin* I can't remember if I blogged about her or not. Life has been in a whirlwinned pace for the last couple weeks. I feel dizzy. LOL
Anyhow I have a lady about eight years or so older then me coming to help out with the kiddos once a week. The days will vary as she has a life, but I'm hoping it will give both Rob and I the break we need. Thank God for the adoption respite fund.
She's gonna snoopervise the kids for five hours while I go to town, sleep, hide, etc. *snicker*
Today I have several little errands to do, and I'm going to have a nice lunch. Probably after that I will come and try to regain some of the sleep I've lost thanks to my lovely cold-ridden son. Jeremiah's philosophy is if I'm miserable everybody else should be. And his cold is so mild compared to what Rainee used to get. Different babies different personalitys.
Last night Rainee perked up abut 5 am and was talking 500 miles a minute. The rest of us were attempting to watch tv. I finally said "Rainee you have diahrea of the mouth." Rainee looks at me and says ewwwwwwwwwwwww I don't like diahrea.
"Yeah that would be the point." I'm thinking desperately trying not to laugh. And she continued to talk 500 miles a minute. Rainee's not into hints. NOT AT ALL>
I took my kids for a small walk yesterday. We ended up finding wild strawberrys to eat. *MMM* The two oldest kiddos were allowed to ride their bikes. The two middle ones were chasing the bike riders. Jamari was extremely enthusiastic. He ran fast, He ran hard....He ran right in and up the ditch until he crashed. Mommy was just staring and snickering. Apparently he hasn't found his steering wheel yet.
I needed yesterday. I refused to entertain my children, I refused to leave the house, and I found my balance again. It feels good to be sane.
I was so on the edge yesterday morning, but I found it.
I've been praying for someone a LOT in the last twelve hours. I see her hurt, and want so badly to reach out and help....the prayer is all I have to offer. May life look a little better today.
"Finally brothers whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if there is anything excellent or praiseworthy think on these things.....I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Philippians 4:8 & 11
