I haven't really talked about it, but I did a lot of business and soul searching with God at the Ladies Retreat. The last session I felt God giving me a graphic. Its hard to explain to those who aren't Christians. I so wish I could.
At camp when I was young, and at Bible college when I was a bit older we were told to draw a circle and put ourselves inside it to show that we had given all of ourselves to God.
I kept thinking of that circle, because yes I was inside it. But there were so many things attatched to my life, yet not belonging to me, not me that I had left outside of that circle. Things I hadn't placed under God's trust.
And then as I was thinking of this, and the challenge the speaker Jerrianne Isley had given to trust, I realized I could put all of those things in the circle. I drew a circle on my notebook and began writing them. As I was writing God told me to think of the circle as his hands. He was a gentle loving Father who wanted all the things I was was concerned about. As I continued to write the graphic grew in my head. I knew I had the perfect picture of my family to use.
Today I used my camera to take some pictures of others things I'd placed in my circle. And in less then two hours I made this graphic. Its a gift to me.
Its about the truth. The truth is I have no control over any of those things, but I do have a loving Father whose hands I can place them in...and he will treat them with care.
Take the graphic...and feel free to place your cares in it.
Gods blessing.
"Finally brothers whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are admirable, if any thing is excellent or praiseworthy think on these." Phillippians 4:8
