whew time to blog
Yesterday I snuck on a couple times, but never with time to actually blog. Rob took MOnday off to give him time to recoop from the marathon. He's actually doing quite well. And cut eighteen minutes off his last years time.
This was a major accomplishment considering he broke his leg a month after last years. LOL
I'm writing on a new story in a new world and
thoroughly enjoying it.
OOOH a Jeremiah picture. This was him waiting for Zeria and SAm to run in their kids marathon. He's soooooo cute. Okay I'm his mom of course I think he's cute. *giggles*
The suprise of the day at the kids marathon was Samuel left daddy and Zeria IN THE DUST man. He didn't come in first as it wasn't intended to be a race, but he was at least five minutes ahead of her. Rob and I still stunned by this. Zeria was absolutely exhausted after her mile point two. Samuel...well the picture says it all. *snicker*
The point behind the kids marathon is they logged in running for a month and a bit before until they clocked 25 miles. Then they ran 1.2 all together with all the other kids doing it to say they'd clocked a marathon. They gave each kid a cool marathon t-shirt and a ribbon. It was a ton of fun. And well worth the $10 per kid. Kaylin was more then a bit miffed about not getting to run, but she just couldn't have gone that far this year IMHO. So next year she will get to.

I actually piggy-backed Zeria some on the way back to the car she was just exhausted. Of course the fact that she got asthma didn't help. And bad bad parents didn't have albuterol on them. I have gotten sooooooo careless about this. And will NOT be repeating that again any time soon.

I'm crotcheting myself a little tiny purse thing to wear around my neck like a necklace and I will just wear the atrovent and albuterol at all times. There are so many things to remember in and out of cars with six children that adding the albuterol and atrovent is tricky. There's also the issue we can't have two at a time thanks to insurance regs so I'm gonna design something not too funky and fix the problem. My first attempt I rushed and was *not* happy with, so I will try again today.
Baccalaureate; Yeah that was this weekend too. Well a few details went astray. Like the list I gave to a elder to give to his wife. I'm assuming his wife will find it when she does his laundry. *beats man senseless* And then there was the fact that the invitation, church bulletin, and church news letter said 6:00...and the school carefully announced it at 7:00. *sigh* So church members got flexible and went at 7...next year gonna have to leave explicit directions at the school....
The problem is 4 years ago our church stopped having evening service at 7 and went to six. The school...keeps forgetting. I'm pleased they actually announced it...just wish they'd read the time on the invites right. *Snicker*
Rob's marathon went well, and I don't have the pictures off my puter yet. And now its time to move on to today. The sun is currently shining...don't expect that to last too young. This has been the nastiest June. Every time the sun creeps out we all run out and worship it, cause it will leave within ten minutes. Bring me sun pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.
My kids are begging for the "schedule" back. (i.e. school) Funny ducks. They don't like free-time. So thats the plan, back to the schedule. Although I'm gonna be tweaking it a bit in the next couple weeks cause there's some things that just aren't quite working. But tis okay some things are working awesome.
*waves* and runs away.
Oh wait.
Finally brothers whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of god repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. Philippians 4:8
