  • sniff sniff sniff I've had a half hour to clean my room and its not clean...and moms coming to check-up on me...and she's gonna throw my toys away and its not fair.

    Waaaaaaaah

Of course if I had cleaned during that half hour...or for the last ten minutes instead of sniffing something *might* have gotten accomplished....

    kids!

Speaking of kids.  Kerri you can feel quite good.  Cause Zeria had another meltdown.

But then so did mommy.   I went in the bedroom and informed Rob I was *not* homeschooling Zeria anymore.  If she wanted to learn she was going to have to beg on bended knee.   I didn't care if she was an ignoramous.

Of course ten minutes later I was out trying again.

    Mommys meltdown.  LOL

Its good to breathe.   Day went much better after that...well except for the meltdown...

goes to scare my kids into cleaning.

  • Snickering.  Well, you can offer to help clean their toys up, but any that you pick up go into your box and if they want them back they have to buy them from you. (You set the price).  Those they don't buy back can go to Goodwill or some such place after a period of time.

  • oh i have so been there! kids act  when i go in there to take something away. grrrrr

  • hehehe... did the same thing today.  I now have a nice big box FULL of toys in my bedroom that weren't picked up.  However, I was picky about what "I" picked up... got rid of a lot of JUNK disguised as their toys.  It is funny, once I got in there to pick up toys, two little boys JUMPED alive to get their favorites put away.:p  I was nice this time... Next time, I think I will use GrannyDee's suggestion and I will pick their FAVORITE toys!!!!wink

  • I'm not sure if I should say I'm feeling good about that or not?   I feel bad for you, but a little better about me. How's that? LOL

It has seriously crossed my mind that if we move I might put Chad in school....and then I'm right back to trying again.  I KNOW he can get a better education at home, even if I have to kill him to do it.
