  • Good morning

Scurrying around finishing odds & ends.   Got the missionary bulletin board as set-up as I can here.   Will finish it at the church.   I really should take a picture its turned out quite well.

Had a fun day yesterday.  Got up at 7 and drove to Tacoma.  Spent a hour plus at a HUGE Joann Fabrics, and a few minutes at a Toys R Us, and then it was time to go find Dee.

Her directions were a little bit vague (in my eyes)   But I drove right to her house.   Which of course relieved me greatly.  Her yard and house is just beautiful.   And I spent so much time gawking I didn't take a single picture.  *snicker*  Guess you'll have to go read her blog if you want to see where I went.

I did snag *one* picy of her and Jeremiah playing together at the restaurant.  *grin*

And am glad my camera was hidden, when I went blonde.  *snicker*

Between Jeremiah and I all of my belongings from my diaper bag went upside down underneath the table.  The table of course was nailed in so I couldn't just reach down and retrieve them.  Nope down on hands and knees under table with Dee gently snickering.

Of course she was laughing harder when we got out to the car and realized I'd left my keys in said restaurant.  I don't just write blonde charries....I am blonde.

Her house was a lovely quiet oasis.   And her big fluffy kitty cat even let me pet him...although just for a second.  He wasn't too sure visitors should be allowed in his domain.

On the way home I drove via the Hood Canal.  A bit slower driving in some ways, lots of corners, and gawking tourists.  But actually a few minutes faster to get home.   Although that could be, because Jeremiah slept the whole way.   He didn't wake up until Port Angeles, at which time he just cooed, so I was able to get home before I nursed him.  He was a saint.  *grin*

I've been reading Dee's blog.....a long time.   I was trying to decide how long...apparently fall of 2001...went and peaked in my xanga sir.   *snicker*   And in all this time we haven't managed to meet....which is really goofy considering how close we live to each other.  Of course I'm fully expecting a scolding from PhotoQuilter for not including her.  *blushes*  Scold away.... *snicker*   Now that I know its not that far away...I'll have to pull it off again sometime.  *grin*  Or ya know PhotoQuilter could drive Dee this way...since Dee doesn't like to drive, and we could have a party at my house.  snigger *schemer I am*  Her kids would love to play with my babies.

My kids were glad to see me, and Rob had  a lovely time with them.  And spent great portions of the day cleaning.   I love a husband who can clean house better then me.  No pride here, as long as it done who CARES who does it.  *snicker*   I have plenty of other things to do......

like play online, or read books, or love kids.

And every ones in the car for church...so gotta get.

  • I have not idea why I forgot my camera...bad me.  Chuckles.  Still snickering....

  • We like her house too...that's why she's not allowed to sell it unless we can buy it. LOL  Of course that would require Chris finding a job there...and I'd have to live in the same town as my mom...  I particular am jealous of all the built in shelves and cabinets in the living and dining room. hehehe

  • Well, I am glad at least one of you had a camera there! I now realize how much I eat out, because I recognized the restaurant from that photo LOL No scolding from me...as long as you let me know when to be at the party :fun: and I definately will be bringing the camera!
