Good morning
Its rather misty today, but tis okay.
I spent a rather inordinate amount of time yesterday on the phone. Details for baccalaureate are starting to come together. I designed the invitation, and now just need to get them printed. I have the blessing of the school principal, the music, the cake, and half of the food prepared, someone to be in charge of the punch and serve it. I just need set-up, take-down, and to figure out when I'm going to decorate. This involves e-mail with the janitor. I can do this.
In other goofiness I managed to get to our churches WMF meeting. I've been wanting to start going since January, but its one of those second Monday of the month kinda things thats hard to remember. So, I finally made it. It was a lot of fun. And the babysitters were wonderful, and had crafts etc planned for my munchies. I ahem volunteered for something while i was there too. *snicker*
This is a easy one. I'm just rejuvenating our churches missionary bulletin board. It rather disappeared, and should NOT have. I feel very strongly about missions. So, today my neighbor will be map shopping, and then dropping everything at my house to get set up. It should take about an hour or so to get set up. And then will just take mere seconds to update pictures from time to time. The amusing part of this were the dear sweet ladies who didn't wish to spend the extra money on a new map. The old map...was 40 years old. I didn't argue with them...was just going to buy it with my own money LOL. Half the countrys on the world map have changed in the last 40 years. *giggles* But in there world...that just isn't that important. I'm not having to get the map though, because the elder who originally asked to get it fixed had already said they'd do it. I told them I could, and his wife reassured me it was fine. Hey I'm nota gonna argue. *giggles*
Anyhow...it should be a fun little project that won't take too long, and makes me feel involved in the church without being overwhelmed by it.
So between the two projects I did a lot of phoning. This is ironic considering my goal to learn to use the telephone without fear. *snicker*
